Before contacting the service department please carry out the checks listed
below. If you cannot solve the problem by following the instructions below,
contact your store's service centre.
PROBLEMS
The mini-stereo will
not switch on
The CD player will
not play
Malfunction
There is no sound or
it is erratic
The remote control
is not working

CHECKS AND SETTINGS
Check that the power cord is correctly attached to the
wall socket.
There is no disc in the reader, insert a disc.
The disc has been inserted upside down.
Turn the disc over, so that the printed side is facing
up.
The player cannot play this type of disc.
The disc is dirty or damaged, clean it or try another
disc.
Moisture is trapped inside the system.
Remove the disc and leave the player switched on for
an hour or two.
If the mini-stereo is malfunctioning, unplug it for 30
minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the radio back on.
Check whether the sound of the mini-stereo is turned
off (MUTE button).
Check whether the speakers are correctly connected.
The disc is dirty or damaged. Clean the disc or try
another.
Remove any obstacle between the remote control and
the device.
Point the remote control towards the device's sensor.
Check whether the battery was inserted observing the
+ and - polarity.
Replace the remote control battery.
