    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG Allgemeines Allgemeine Informationen zu dieser Anleitung Die Konstruktion des elektrischen Thermit -Anzünders SMARTWELD SPARK (im ® Folgenden auch „Gerät“ genannt) und aller Zubehörteile entspricht dem aktuellen Stand der Technik. Die Bedienungssanleitung verwenden Die Angaben in dieser Bedienungsanleitung sind verbindlich. Jeder Anwender des Geräts muss die Bedienungsanleitung vor der Benutzung vollständig gelesen und verstanden haben.

    Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Der elektrische Thermit -Anzünder SMARTWELD SPARK ist technisch aus- ® schließlich für die Zündung von Thermit -Schweißportionen in einem von der ® Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG gefertigten Tiegelsystemen ausgelegt und darf nur zu diesem Zweck eingesetzt und betrieben werden. Für die Zündung dürfen nur die dazugehörigen Elektroden verwendet werden.

    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG Für Personen- oder Sachschäden, die durch einen bestimmungs- fremden Gebrauch des Gerätes oder seiner Zubehörteile verur- sacht wurden, haftet die Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG nicht. Allgemeine Gefahrenquellen 6.3.1 Elektrische Komponenten – Ladegerät und Akkus Der Anschlussstecker (Eurostecker CEE 7/16) des Ladegeräts muss kompatibel zur Steckdose und dem Stromnetz sein.

    6.3.2 Gerät Das Gerät gibt zur Zündung der Schweißportion einen elektrischen Spannungs- impuls ab. Dieser liegt im Niedervoltbereich unter 60 V. Trotzdem ist darauf zu achten, dass niemand durch fahrlässige Benutzung des Geräts einen Stromschlag erleidet. Der Einschalter dient dazu, die komplette Baugruppe span- nungsfrei zu schalten.

    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG Aufbau des Geräts Der elektrische Thermit -Anzünder SMARTWELD SPARK (siehe Abb. 2) besitzt ein ® schlagfestes Gehäuse aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyamid. Das Gerät ist pistolenartig geformt, sodass es bequem mit einer Hand bedient werden kann. Es ist so konzipiert, dass das Zünden der Schweißportion in einem Reaktionstiegel möglich ist.

Das akustische Signal ertönt, um den Benutzer zu informieren, dass er jetzt schnellstmöglich das Gerät vom Reaktionstiegel entfernt und den Sicherheitsabstand herstellen muss.

    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG Akkus korrekt laden Die Akkus vor dem ersten Gebrauch vollständig laden. Das Ladegerät hat eine Kontrollanzeige zur Information über den Ladezustand des eingeklinkten Akkus (siehe Abb. 7). Überhitzung oder Beschädigung des Akkus. Die linke Anzeige auf dem Ladegerät (siehe Abb. 7) gibt an, ob der Akku überhitzt oder beschädigt ist.

    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG 9.4.2 Schweißportion im Reaktionstiegel zünden 1. Kappe des Langzeittiegels abnehmen und in der Hand behalten oder die Elek- troden durch die Elektrodenöffnung des Euro-Tiegels in die Schweißportion 40 mm tief eintauchen. 2. Start-Taster drücken. Die IGN-LED blinkt. Nun liegt die Zündspannung an und das Gerät ist 30 Sekunden lang zündbereit.

    5. Elektroden abziehen und entsorgen. Die Elektroden können zusammen mit den restlichen Schweißabfällen entsorgt werden. 6. Warten bis die Schweißportion vollständig reagiert hat und erst dann mit den weiteren Arbeiten gemäß der Arbeitsanweisung für das Thermit ® Schweißverfahren fortfahren. 9.4.3 Erneute Zündung vorbereiten Nachdem eine Schweißportion gezündet wurde, können die Elektroden bei eingeschaltetem Gerät ausgetauscht werden.

    SMARTWELD SPARK BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG Funktionsstörungen Leuchtet die ERR-LED, liegt entweder ein Fehler im Gerät vor oder der Überhitzungs- schutz hat sich aktiviert. Fehlerbehebung bei aktiviertem Überhitzungsschutz: 1. Abwarten bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist. 2. Nach einigen Minuten Abkühlzeit den Start-Taster drücken. Hört die ERR-LED nach Drücken des Start-Tasters auf zu leuchten, kann weitergearbeitet werden.
  • Seite 27 KOMPONENTE ENTSORGUNGSMÖGLICHKEIT Elektroden Die Elektroden können zusammen mit den restlichen Schweißabfällen entsorgt werden. Akkus Akkus enthalten gefährliche Chemikalien und sind als Sondermüll zu entsorgen. Die Entsorgung von Akkus darf nur über ein zugelassenes Rücknahmesystem erfolgen. Die geeignete Annahmestelle kann bei der jeweiligen kommunalen Verwaltung erfragt werden.

    6.3.2 Electric Thermit igniter ® The device produces an electric voltage pulse to ignite the Thermit portion. This ® pulse lies in a voltage range lower than 60 V. Nevertheless, misuse can cause electrical shock. The on-switch is used to de-energize the complete assembly. The switch has a maximum load current of 12 A and must be ensured that it is only actuated in a no-load state (without gate trigger current).
