IMPORTANT
Batteries do not belong in normal household waste, but must be returned to a designated collec-
tion point. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential nega-
tive consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this product.
PROCEDURE
1. On the back, the grinder has points and an arrow that indicates whether it is locked or unlocked.
To open it, hold the base (B) and turn the top of the grinder (A) counterclockwise so that
the top dot is in the same position as the bottom right arrow. Remove the top from the base.
2. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity into the compartment (C). Polarity marks are
marked here.
3. Place the top of the grinder (A) back on the base and align on the right side of the arrow.
Holding the base (B), turn the top of the grinder clockwise. The top dot should move to
the left, and should be above the bottom dot, indicating that the grinder is locked.
FILLING THE GRINDER
1. Remove the top of the grinder in the same way as described in the section on inserting and
replacing the batteries.
2. The clear container (D) is divided into two parts. One side is for pepper (with gray grinder)
and the other for salt (with white grinder).
3. Fill the corresponding containers with pepper and salt using the designated holes (E) on the sides.
4. Return the top of the grinder in the same way as described in the battery replacement
section.
USE OF THE GRINDER
SETTING
1. Use the wheels on the bottom of the grinder to adjust
the grinding roughness of the pepper and salt. see picture.
Coarse: counterclockwise (marked with a large dot on
the base incl. Direction arrow)
Fine: clockwise (marked with a small dot incl. Directional arrow)
Never loosen (unscrew) or tighten the control wheels completely!
GRINDING
2. Press the button labeled P for pepper and S for salt at the top
of the grinder. Only one at a time, never both at the same time!
After a short delay, the grinder starts working.
To end grinding, release the button.
