Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Stabfeuerzeug dient dazu Zigaretten, Zigarren, Kerzen, o.ä. anzuzünden.
Das Stabfeuerzeug darf nur mit handelsüblichem Feuerzeug-Gas befüllt werden.

Sicherheitshinweise
Feuerzeuge gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Bewahren Sie das Feuerzeug für Kinder
unzugänglich auf.
Befüllen Sie das Feuerzeug ausschliesslich mit handelsüblichem Feuerzeug-Gas.
Das Stabfeuerzeug enthält Butangas. Er muß daher von direkten Wärmequellen und
Sonneneinwirkung (>40°C) ferngehalten werden.
Befüllung
Befüllen Sie den Gastank nur in gut belüfteter Umgebung und vermeiden Sie
dabei offene Flammen (Explosionsgefahr!).
Beachten Sie die Sicherheits- und Bedienhinweise des Feuerzeug-
Gasherstellers.
Das Feuerzeug darf nur im abgekühlten Zustand befüllt werden.

Prescribed use
The stick-like lighter is used to light cigarettes, cigars, candles etc.
The stick-like lighter can only be filled with ordinary lighter gas.

Safety measures
Lighters are not to be used by children. Keep them out of the reach of children. Fill the
lighter only with ordinary lighter gas.
This lighter contains butane gas. It should be kept away from heat sources and out of
the sun (>40°C)
Refilling the lighter
Fill the gas receptacle only in well-aerated environments avoiding naked
flames (danger of explosion!).
Observe the safety instructions of the lighter's manufacturer.
The lighter should be filled only when it is cool.
Immediately stop the refilling procedure if gas should escape. An explosive
mixture of gas and air can result.Make sure that the room is sufficiently aerat-
ed before lighting the stick-like lighter or other ignition source.

Drehen Sie den Gaslötbrenner um, so daß das Füllventil (4) nach oben zeigt.
Stecken Sie die Feuerzeug-Gasflasche (wenn nötig mittels eines geeigneten Adapters) auf das
Füllventil (4). Drücken Sie nun die Gasflasche vertikal nach unten.
Das Gas strömt nun in den Gastank des Feuerzeugs. Der Füllvorgang dauert ca. 3s.
Bedienung
Schieben Sie den Zündknopf (2) nach vorn, bis der Piezozünder ausgelöst wird und die Flamme
entzündet (evtl. wiederholen wenn die Flamme nicht gleich zündet).
Regeln Sie die Flammenhöhe mit dem Regler (3).
Zum Abschalten lassen Sie den Zündknopf (2) einfach los.
Handhabung
Beim Zünden und während des Gebrauchs das Feuerzeug von Körper und Kleidung fernhalten.
Halten Sie das Feuerzeug so, dass der Flammenaustritt (1) von Ihnen weg zeigt.
Lassen Sie die Flamme immer nur einige Sekunden brennen, da sich ansonsten das Gehäuse
zu stark erhitzen kann, Verbrennungsgefahr!

Place the lighter-gas bottle (if necessary with the help of an adequate adapter) on the refill
valve (4).
Press the gas bottle down vertically.

Now gas flows into the gas receptacle of the lighter.

The filling operation lasts approximately 3 seconds.
Operation
Push the ignition button (2) forward until the Piezo ignition is activated and the flame lights
(repeat procedure if the flame does not ignite immediately).
Adjust the flame height with the regulator (3).
To turn the lighter off, release the ignition button.
Maintenance
While in use, keep the lighter away from body and clothes. Hold the lighter in such a way that
the flame oulet points away from you.
Never let the flame burn for more than a few seconds, otherwise the casing heats up too much.
Danger of burning!

Unterbrechen Sie den Vorgang sofort, wenn Gas beim Befüllen austritt. Es kön-
nen explosionsfähige Gas-Luft-Gemische entstehen. Achten Sie darauf, daß
der Raum ausgiebig gelüftet wurde, bevor Sie das Stabfeuerzeug oder andere
Zündquellen zünden.
Das Stabfeuerzeug ist abgesehen vom Befüllen des Gastanks absolut war-
tungsfrei.
Lösen Sie die Bodenschraube am Füllventil (4) nicht um das Gas ausströmen zu
lassen.
Das Gehäuse des Stabfeuerzeugs darf nicht geöffnet, beschädigt und nicht in
Feuer oder offene Flammen gehalten werden! Explosionsgefahr!
Es darf keine Reparatur des Stabfeuerzeugs erfolgen. Sollte es beschädigt oder
defekt sein, so entsorgen Sie es ordnungsgemäß.

Apart from refilling the gas receptacle, the stick-like lighter does not require
any maintenance at all.
Do not unscrew the bottom screw of the filling valve (4) to let the gas escape.
The casing of the stick-lighter should not be opened, damaged, thrown in fire
or held near naked flames. Danger of explosion!
No repairs to the stick-like lighter should be made. If the lighter is damaged or
defective, get rid of it according to the prescribed laws.
