Care instructions for dustbin cover units made from steel with polyrattan material
Your dustbin cover unit was made from steel in combination with polyrattan material.
Dustbin cover units are subject to environmental influences, i.e. they are exposed to great fluctuations
in temperature, moisture, and intensive sunlight. You should observe the following instructions to
enable you to enjoy them for longer:

Avoiding long contact with moisture and accumulated water prolongs service life. If possible, it
is advantageous to position the unit underneath a roof projection, for example.

Clean with a soft brush and soap suds.

Regularly inspect the dustbin cover unit for rust. Dripping rust water can cause staining to
flooring.

Avoid contact with pollen and other natural substances that cause tanning, or regularly remove
such substances.

The screws are made from steel to achieve a higher durability. Do not attempt to overtighten
these. Treat rust formation with the aid of a rust converter and a dab of paint.

The frame is powder coated. Usage and transportation cause damage to the paintwork, which
should be repaired in good time with a dab of paint to prevent corrosion.

Swivel joints should be lubricated regularly to keep them loose.

Long periods or exposure to sunlight can cause fading and porosity. Positioning the product out
of direct sunlight prolongs service life.

The polyrattan material is hand-woven and consists of many shorter strands. During use, it is
possible that end pieces may sometimes jut out. They can very easily be woven back into
position. Please make sure that this end piece is sufficiently fixed in place to ensure that it does
not immediately come loose again. If necessary, thread the end in earlier and go further into
the weave. This phenomenon is a characteristic feature of wickerwork and does not constitute
grounds for complaint.

This product is not suitable for use as a substitute ladder, chassis stand or gymnastic apparatus
for children.
Dustbin cover units offer a special price/performance ratio. Service life is limited in the event of
outdoor use due to the nature of the material. In particular corrosion does not constitute grounds for
complaint.
As a general rule: As dustbin cover units are exposed to wind and weather, you need to treat them
with a certain tolerance.
