GETTING STARTED
This section explains how to play with your word learning box. It is recommended to read the complete
instruction manual for detailed instructions and safety warnings.
There are many different ways to use your word school box. Here are a few exercise ideas you can
easily do with children:
1. Learn to form words
With the 50 included word cards, your children can recreate words on the board. Place a word card
inside the big slot on the board, and ask your child to recreate the word by placing the corresponding
letters into the letter slots.
2. Drawing letters
Take out one of the 3 cards with the alphabet letters.
Give your child the blackboard side and chalk and ask him to recreate the letters as shown on the
alphabet card.
These cards can also be used with the word cards to spell out entire words.
3. Learn words in English and German
Choose a word card and insert it in the card slot on the board.
Ask the child to recreate the word by inserting letters into the corresponding slots. Once the word is
learnt in one language, turn the card around and repeat the exercise!
4. Guess the word
Show your child only the drawing part of a word card by hiding the written word. The child must then
find the correct word and spell it out with the letters.
