f) Cleaning and maintenance
• WARNING: It is hazardous for anyone other than a trained person to carry out any
service or repair operation which involves the removal of any cover which gives
protection against exposure to microwave energy.
• Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the
surface that could adversely affect the lifespan of the appliance and possibly result
in a hazardous situation.
Built-up grease may overheat and begin to cause smoke or catch fire.
• The appliance must not be cleaned with a steam cleaner.
• The oven should be cleaned regularly, and any food deposits removed.
• Do not directly put cold water onto the glass plate after use. Wait for at least
20 minutes and then put the glass plate into the water to avoid cracking.

Getting started

a) Unpacking
1. Remove all packaging.
2. If there is a safety film over the microwave oven, tear it off before use.
3. Check carefully for damage. If there are any signs of damage, do not use the microwave
oven.
b) Placement and connection
Requirements
• The microwave oven must not be placed in a cabinet. The microwave oven is intended to
be used freestanding.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, the back of the microwave oven should be kept at least
10 cm from obstructions and the side at least 5 cm from obstructions. The top of the
microwave oven should be kept at least 20 cm from obstructions at least 85 cm off the
ground.

• The microwave oven must be positioned at least 5 m from TVs, radios or antenna to prevent
interference.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
Placing and connecting
1. Place the microwave oven on an even and stable surface.
2. Connect the mains plug to a nearby mains outlet.
- The display lights up and enters standby mode (displays 1:00).
c) Setting the clock
1. In standby mode, press the Defrost/clock button for at least 3 seconds to enter the clock
setting interface.
- The hour setting on the display will flash.
2. Turn the Time/Weight dial to set the hours.
3. Press the START/+30s button save the hours and switch to the minute setting.
4. Turn the Time/Weight dial to set the minutes.
5. Press the START/+30s button again to save the minutes and exit the setting mode.
d) Removing residue
Residue or oil left over from manufacturing may be in the oven cavity or heat element, which

may smell or even cause a small amount of smoke.
To remove residue:
1. Open a nearby window. Some smoke may develop during the process of removing residue.

2. Place a full cup of water in the microwave and close the door.
3. Press the Microw. button continuously until 100P (HIGH) shows on the display.
4. Press the START/+30s button to start the microwave.
5. Repeat the cooking process three times.
Locking the operating panel
Use the operating panel lock to prevent others from operating the microwave oven or making
changes to settings.
• Set lock: Hold the STOP/lock button for 3 seconds.
• Cancel lock: Hold the STOP/lock button for 3 seconds.

Only use containers that are suitable and safe for microwave cooking. Refer to the below table:

When cooking food with a high-fat content, do not allow the plastic wrap to come into contact
with food as it may melt.

• Some microwave-safe plastic cookware might not be suitable for cooking foods with a high
fat and sugar content.
• The preheating time specified in the dish instructions must not be exceeded.
