Basic function
The radio-operated remote control unit (the transmitters) controls power sockets and
dimmers (the receivers) selectively and in groups.
Direct line-of-sight connection between transmitters and receivers is not necessary,
because contact is made by radio signals.
The repeater has an additional socket, which can be used for any electrical load,
independent of the radio switch technology.
Positioning
Do not locate receivers in the corners of rooms.
Minimum distance between receivers: 1,0m.
Avoid thick reinforced concrete walls.
Place the repeater between remote control and receiver to enlarge the range.
The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Safety
Read these instructions carefully before starting use.
For indoor use only.
Check all components for any signs of damage.
The range repeater must not be covered with cloth, paper, curtains etc. This could lead
to dangerous heat accumulations. The use in close, nonventilated areas (e.g.
wardrobes, bins etc.) is not allowed. Please ensure enough clearance around the
receiver for good ventilation. Any objects and the appliance should be at least 10cm
apart
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Don't open the housing.
Do not connect several devices in series!
If any damages are found, don't connect the
product to the power supply and don't use it.
Don't attempt to make any repairs yourself.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing
connection.
The apparatus shall not exposed to dripping or splashing.
Use the components only in the conditions described in the technical data.
Components are not intended for use in rough conditions such as on construction sites.
Unplug the range repeater before cleaning. For cleaning use only a dry, fluff-free
cloth. (On cleaning section)
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Before operating
All receivers must be programmed onto the button to which it is meant to react.
Startup
1. Open the battery compartment of the remote control, insert the batteries, making quite
sure the poles are the right way round and close again afterwards.
2. Plug the product into a wall power socket.
3. The programming mode is activated for about 1 minute by pushing the "LEARN" button
of the product for about 2 seconds. Thereby the red LED is flashing with a frequency of
1 Hz.
4. Now the device must be chosen on the remote control and transmitted to the receiver
by pushing the "ON" button or operation the rocker switch.
Note:
a) If there are any interferences with other devices, a new code for the remote control
must be generated. Therefore follow the manual of the remote control. Additional the
storage of the product must be deleted according to c). Now repeat the steps 3+4.
b) The storage is full after 10 programmings, displayed by a fast flashing of the LED (3Hz)
in the programming mode.
c) To delete the storage, please repeat step 3 and push the "LEARN" button two times
within two seconds. Afterwards the LED flashes with 1Hz, and the product can be
programmed again.
Connection
Plug range repeater into a wall socket.

requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC. For the complete CE
Declaration of Conformity please refer to www.rev.biz under the article in
Question. This product is a radio controlled system and should only be used
as this. The buttons of the remote control could not be used permanently.
WEEE-reference of disposal
In accordance with European defaults used electrical and electronics devices may no more
be given to the unsorted waste. The symbol of the waste bin on wheels refers to the
necessity of separate collection. Please help with environmental protection and see to it
that this device is given to the for this purpose designated systems of waste
sorting if you do not use it any longer. GUIDELINE 2002/96/EC of the
EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND the COUNCIL of January 27th 2003
about electrical and electronics old devices.

Warranty
During manufacturing this REV product is passed through several quality testing stations
which are set up with newest technology. Should nevertheless a defect arise, REV offers a
warranty to the following extent:
1.The duration of the warranty is 24 months after the date of purchase.
2.The unit is either repaired or replaced by REV free of charge or if it can be shown that it
has become unusable during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or material
defect.
3.The liability does not cover transport damages or damaged incurred through defective
installation.
4.If REV repudiates the warranty claim and no objection is made within 6 months, the
right to repair becomes time-barred.
5.In a warranty case the unit must be sent to the dealer or REV Together with the sales
slip and a short description of the defect.
6.If there is no proof for a warranty liability being in place, any repair carried out will be
invoiced.
