- no longer functions properly,

• Do not use the product when it is damaged (e.g., housing or power cable). There
is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• In this case, dispose of the product in an environmentally correct manner.
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• Never overload the product. For max. allowable electrical output, see chapter
„Technical data".
• Do not connect in series! This can lead to an overload on the garden power strip!
There is a risk of fire!
• Do not operate while covered! At higher rated connected loads, the power strip
and the connecting cable may become warm, which can lead to overheating and
potentially a fire if covered!
• Zero potential is realized only when unplugged (if the garden power strip is oper-
ated via a flexible cable with power adapter) or all poles of the mains voltage are
switched off (for fixed installation; switch off the GFCI).
Connection and installation
• Pull out the terminal box from the underside of the garden power strip. The terminal box is
attached to a plastic strip.
• Open the terminal box by unscrewing the four screws.
• Remove the strain relief clamp located on the plastic strip.
• Strip the ends of the connecting cable for a length of approx. 25 mm.
In any case, you should use a connecting cable that is suitable for outdoor use.
Depending on the type of installation (with ground spike or fixed installation), an
appropriate connection cable must be used.
• Cut 10 mm of the brown wire (phase/L) and the blue wire (neutral/N). That way, the earth wire
(yellow/green wire) is 10 mm longer than both the brown and the blue wires. If the strain relief
fails, it is thus ensured that the earth wire is the last wire that remains in the screw terminal.
• Strip the three wires for a length of approx. 5 - 6 mm.
• Run the connecting cable through the bottom plate (pay attention to the correct orientation).
In regard to a fixed installation (without spike) on a concrete base, for example, the
garden power strip can be fastened without using the base plate at all.
However, because the sheet of base of the garden power strip is thin, the base can
deform when driving the screws in. Therefore, use appropriate washers between the
bottom and the base.
• Attach the connecting cable to the three screw terminals. In case of stranded wires use wire
end ferrules.
Brown wire = phase (L)
Blue wire = neutral conductor (N)
Yellow / green wire = earth wire (PE)
• Attach the strain relief clamp so that both cables are fixed securely.
• Close the cover of the terminal. box.
• Slide the terminal box completely and as far as this is possible into the lower opening of the
garden power strip. By means of the plastic strip, you can push the terminal box far into the
garden power strip.
The plastic strip must face downwards to the ground, the terminal box upwards).
• When using the ground spike, fasten the bottom plate with screws to the bottom of the garden
power strip first. Then turn in the ground spike supplied into the thread on the underside of the
bottom plate. Push the garden power strip with the ground rod into soft soil.
Never use force when you push in the spike, do not use tools (never use a hammer to
hit the garden power strip into the ground). Ensure that the garden power strip on the
ground spike is securely fastened in place and cannot fall over. Operation of the garden
power strip is only permissible in a vertical operating position (spike points down).
For the immovable installation suitable screws and if necessary anchors must be used as the
surface condition may require. Also applies that only installation in an upright vertical operat-
ing position is allowed (the garden power strip base is at the bottom).
Make certain when drilling and tightening the screws that no cables or pipes are
damaged.
Start-up
Immediately after connecting the garden power strip to the mains (if a flexible connection cable
with power adapter is used at the garden power strip) or by connecting the mains voltage (via
fuse or circuit breaker and GFCI) it is operational.
Connect a load to one of the outlets of the garden power strip. To do that you need to slowly tilt
the cover over the outlet upwards (do not use force).
Never plug into the garden power strip damp or wet power plugs. There is a risk of
a life-threatening electric shock!
If a device needs to be unplugged, flip the cover over the outlet a bit upwards and unplug the
power plug from the outlet of the garden power strip. Then close the cover over the outlet.
Do not let the cover slam downwards by means of the integrated spring and rather
shut the cover by hand.

Once the product is disconnected from the voltage/current, the clock stops. When
the garden power strip is used again, the time must be reset.
Please note:
This is a mechanical timer. This is why there may be a difference of several minutes
between start and stop times.
Push the associated push lever (5) outward (for example, with a fingernail or a pencil) to
switch on the outlets or the load connected. Do not use force.
Move the push levers (5) inward to turn off.
