Cassettes
Band Selection: Metal and chrome (cobalt) tapes have identification holes.
Handling: Use your finger or a pencil to turn the cassette hub and so take up the slack.
- Do not touch the tape. Fingerprints attract dust and dirt.
- Avoid to drop cassettes or suspend it otherwise excessive vibration.
- Please do not use C-120 tapes, because the design of these cartridges is often very unstable and they
can get caught in the transport mechanism.
Do not store tapes in the following places:
- On the top of heaters
- Where there is direct sunlight
- High temperature locations
- In the vicinity of loudspeakers, televisions and amplifiers
- In areas subject to strong magnetic fields
- In areas with high humidity
- Dirty, dusty places
Head maintenance
Head and tape path should be periodically cleaned and demagnetized. Please use as a cassette-type head
cleaning tape and a degaussing. For specific details on the proper use of the products, please read the manual
of the respective element.
