DIGITAL MEAT THERMOMETER WITH TIMER
DIGITAL COOKING THERMOMETER
Installing Batteries
The thermometer requires 1 AAA battery for power. Follow these steps to install the battery.
1. Pull off the battery compartment cover on the back off the monitor.
2. Place one AAA battery in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+and-).
3. Replace the cover. Note: Auto shut off feature will turn thermometer off if not use for 120 minutes.
ADJUSTING FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS
To select Fahrenheit or Celsius, briefly pressing the °C/°F button allows you to switch between the individual modes.
Note: Temperature range: 0°C - +250°C (32°F - +482°F).
Locate the probe socket on the right side of the thermometer. Insert the meat probe connector-plug into the socket.
OPERATION
CONNECTING THE PROBE
1. Press and hold down the SET button tor 2 seconds until the set temp is flashing.
2. Press and to select your desired temperature.
3. Press SET to lock in the settings.
4. Your target temperature will appear on the LCD screen. Begin cooking.
5. The cooking alerts will sound as described above.
6. Press any button to silence the alert
AFTER COOKING
• Once cooking is finished, remove the probe using an oven mitt.
• Clean the probe with water and a mild detergent. To clean the main unit and sensor wipe with a damp cloth
Note: The maximum count down/up time is 99 minutes / 59 seconds.
COUNT DOWN MODE
1. Press and hold 'MIN' button to set the desired minute.
2. Press and hold 'SEC' button to set the desired second. Note: Time setting is only effective when the timer is in stop or reset
mode.
3. Alter the time has been set, press the 'START/STOP' button once to start count down minutes and seconds. 'MIN' and 'SEC'
icons will flash.
4. When the count down time reaches 00:00 the alarm will activate and sound for 60 seconds.
5. To stop the alarm press any key. Note: When the alarm will stop after 60 seconds, the timer will return to the preset count
down time.
1. Press 'MIN' and 'SEC' buttons simultaneously to reset the time to 00:00. Note: The count up mode will be enable,
when count down time has been set.
TO SET THE TIMER
COUNT UP MODE
2. Press the 'START/STOP' button to start count up minutes and seconds. 'MIN' and 'SEC' icons will flash.
3. Alter a time will reach 99:59 minutes the alarm will activate and sound for 60seconds.
4. To stop the alarm press any key.
TO STOP THE TIMER
• Press the 'START/STOP' button.
TO RESET THE TIME TO 00:00
• Press 'MIN' and 'SEC' buttons simultaneously.
BATTERY CHANGE
It is recommended to replace the batteries for all units every 1 year to ensure optimum accuracy of these unit.
