WISO Crystal Wind-/Sun Station
Installation and Operating Instructions
1. Safety precautions
· The Vestamatic WISO Crystal Wind-/Sun Station was designed for
correct use as described in the operating instructions. Any changes or
modifications thereof are not permissible and will result in loss of all
warranty claims.
· Check the sensor unit for signs of mechanical damage immediately
after unpacking. If you notice any shipping damage, notify your supplier
immediately.
In the event of damage do not switch the sensor unit on!
· When setting the wind speed threshold value on your awning controls,
make sure that it is consistent with the wind gauge 1 wind meter
values.
2. Installation
The Vestamatic WISO Crystal Wind-/Sun Station must be installed and
connected by a professional electrician.
1. When deciding where to install the sensor unit, ensure that the wind
speed and sun intensity readings, taken at the mounting location, are
similar to those taken on the shading device.
Warning: Do not mount the sensor unit in the shade, or shelter, of
the extended shading device. The wall mount should
be attached with the sensor unit column pointing up-
wards as shown in diagram 1.
2. Attach the wall mount using the installation kit supplied.
3. Connect the control supply cable to the sensor cable according to the
wiring diagram.
4. If necessary, adjust the sensor unit (1) so that, together with the sun
sensor (2), it captures maximum sun intensity.

We recommend that you use the same-coloured LIYY 4 × 0.34mm² cable
for the control centre connection. Always ensure that the terminal con-
nections are correct.

6. Warranty terms
For new devices, Vestamatic GmbH issues a warranty period of 24 months,
starting from the date of purchase, provided the device was mounted in
accordance with the installation instructions. The warranty applies to all
design, material and manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not include faults and defects due to:
– faulty mounting or installation,
– failure to observe of the installation and operating instructions,
– inappropriate operation and strain,
– detrimental effects such as impacts or weather,
– non-authorised repairs or modifications,
– use of inappropriate accessories.
Product faults occurring within the warranty period will be remedied free-
of-charge by Vestamatic, either by means of repair or by exchange of the
device. A replacement delivery due to warranty claims does not extend
the original warranty period. The buyer shall bear all costs for mounting
and installation.
The disposal of electrical equipment and batteries in house-
é
hold waste is strictly forbidden.
The symbol (dustbin crossed out, in line with WEEE Appendix IV) indicates
separate collection of electrical and electronic products in EU countries.
Do not dispose of the device or battery in your household waste. Ask your
town or local council about the return and collection systems available in
your area to dispose of this product.
