Installation and Commissioning

1. Remove the mounting plate from the rear side of the
device by slightly turning it counter clockwise. Mark two
drill holes at the desired mounting location according to
the holes of the mounting plate.
2. Drill the corresponding holes at the planned mounting
position. Make sure not to damage any lines!
3. Insert the provided wall plugs (or use other installation
material that is suitable for the mounting surface) into
the bore holes and screw in the screws (through the
mounting plate) respectively hang the mounting plate on
the screws.
4. Insert three new batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into the
battery compartment (7). Pay attention to the proper po-
larity of the batteries. The polarity is printed inside the
battery compartment.
5. The carbon monoxide detector emits a beep for confirm-
ing commissioning, the red LED briefly lights up and 888
PPM is briefly indicated on the display. A few seconds
later, the display and the blue display background light
go off.
6. Install the CO detector on the mounting plate.
7. Check the carbon monoxide detector's functions by
pressing the TEST/RESET key (2). However, when do-
ing so, hold the device at least at arm's length for pro-
tecting your ears. The CO detector beeps 4 times in
rapid succession and the display background light lights
up. The red LED (6) blinks. A few seconds later this re-
