9. Cleaning and caring for the appliance

WARNING!
Risk of injury through electric shock due to live
parts.
 Switch off the appliance and pull the plug out of the
power socket before cleaning the appliance.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other liq-
uids.
 Allow the appliance to cool down on a heat-resistant surface.
 Remove any hair and dust from the appliance.
 Clean the exterior surfaces of the appliance and the heating surfaces with a soft,
slightly moistened cloth. Dry the surfaces if necessary with a soft cloth.
 Do not use any corrosive cleaning agents, cleaning spirit or alcohol.

10. Disposal

Packaging

The product has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit.
The packaging is made of materials that can be recycled in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.
Appliance
Old appliances should not be disposed of with the normal household
rubbish.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be proper-
ly disposed of at the end of its service life.
This involves separating the materials in the appliance for the purpose
of recycling and minimising the environmental impact.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recy-
cling centre.
