Operation

Features of the front and rear panel.
1. INPUT PASSIVE/ACTIVE Plug your bass in
here. The PASSIVE input is more sensitive and
has a higher impedance to work with passive
electronics. The ACTIVE input is optimized for
basses with active electronics.
2. INPUT LEVEL Adjusts the signal strength
in the pre amp. Changing the settings on the
equalizer might require changing the input level,
since both are connected.
3. BASS Adjusts the low frequencies.
4. LO MID Adjusts the lower mid frequencies.
5. MIDDLE Adjusts the middle frequencies.
6. HI MID Adjusts the upper mid frequencies.
7. TREBLE Adjusts the high frequencies.
8. MASTER VOLUME Adjusts the overall
volume, both that of your bass as well as audio
sources connected to the LINE IN.

9. D.I. The output signal of this XLR connection
is adapted to the level and impedance of a
symmetric microphone input to send the signal
directly to a PA system, a mixer or a recording
interface. The PRE/POST switch allows to send
the signal before or after the equalizer section.
The LIFT/GND switch disconnects the ground
connection to avoid noise issues when using
the D.I. Out with grounded equipment.
10. LINE LEVEL Adjusts the signal strength of
an audio source connected to the LINE-IN to
match it to the signal of your instrument.
11. LINE-IN Use this 3,5mm input jack to connect
an audio source like an mp3 player to jam along
to a backing track or your favorite songs.
12. PHONES Allows to connect headphones
which also mutes the speaker.
13. POWER SUPPLY & FUSE Connect the
included power cable here. In case of changing
the fuse, pay attention to the correct value.
14. POWER On/Off switch. The LEDs in the
submarines portholes indicate, if the amp is
switched on and ready to use.
