WARNING
ATTENTION: Be aware that driving with electrical assistance needs getting used to. The acceleration and therefore the force forward are very
intense. This unusual acceleration can lead to falls of unexperienced drivers. Begin carefully and make sure you have enough space. It is best
to practice in a protected place without traffic.
Be sure to read the operating instructions before using the Hover Board! It will help you learn safe driving. Nobody should use the Hover Board
without reading the instructions first.
2. Before Using
Before every ride the MODSTER Style should be tested to be safe to drive.
The vehicle was delivered by the manufacturer completely ready for operation. As there may be defects due to the transport, as well as by
possible service periods, which could possibly impair the functions of the vehicle, please pay attention to the following points before the first
commissioning - as well as before each journey:
1.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Before each ride, check the MODSTER Style to make sure that all the screws are properly tightened and that no
components are loose.
2.
CHARGING: The maximum weight of 100 KG must not be exceeded. This includes a backpack or other items that are worn.
3.
The wheelboard must not be driven by small children. Parents are responsible for your children and decide if their child fulfills the pre-
requisites for driving.
4.
Do not lift up the unit and do not twist it in the air. This causes the wheels to rotate freely, which can leed to an injury.
5.
The wheelboard accelerates by leaning forward. If you lean too much forward, the board tilts to the front, which leads to the fall.
6.
CHARGING THE BATTERY: Check the charge level of the battery by means of the LED on the footboard. Do not operate when the battery
is very low (flashing green light or red light). The wheelboard can stop driving and bring you to fall.
The battery is only partially charged. Charge the battery completely before using the vehicle for the first time.
Please calibrate the wheelboard before commissioning for the first time:
1.
Place the wheelboard straight on the ground when it is off. This is especially easy in the original foam holders for the wheels from the
original packaging.
2.
Without moving the board, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. A tone sounds and the red, round LED flashes to confirm the
calibration.
3.
After a few seconds, both the green power LED and the red LED remain constant.
4.
Now turn off the wheelboard, this completes the calibration.
Please always observe the laws and regulations applicable in your country regarding road traffic and vehicle class. Keep in mind that legislati-
on may vary by country, and that MODSTER Style does not have road registration. Please also check out www.modster.at.
