Installationsanleitung (DE)
Der Einbau und die Installation des OMC 1000 REG-GIG darf nur
durch eine Elektrofachkraft erfolgen!
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät dient als zentrale Komponente für die Festinstallation und macht den
Aufbau eines POF-Verteilers in einer herkömmlichen Unterverteilung möglich.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät zu keinem anderen Zweck. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur in
Innenräumen.
Installation
Montage
1. Setzen Sie den OMC 1000 REG-GIG auf die
Hutschiene auf und rasten Sie ihn ein.
Zuschneiden und Anschließen
Nach dem Verlegen des Kabels längen Sie es mit dem
POF-Schneidewerkzeug folgendermaßen ab und
achten Sie darauf, dass beide Adern gleich lang sind:
1. Trennen Sie das Kabel vorsichtig in der Mitte auf
und achten Sie darauf, dass keine Unebenheiten
des Mantels das Einführen des Kabels
behindern können.
2. Führen Sie es in das POF-Schneidewerkzeug ein
und schneiden Sie es durch Druck auf die Klinge
ab.
3. Öffnen Sie die POF-Klemme durch leichtes
Ziehen am schwarzen Anschluss.
4. Entfernen Sie die rote Schutzkappe.
5. Führen Sie das POF-Kabel ein und achten Sie
darauf, dass es bis zum Anschlag geschoben
wird, um eine sichere Verbindung zu
gewährleisten (ca. 2,5 mm).
6. Schließen Sie die POF-Klemme, indem Sie den
schwarzen Anschluss in die Geräteöffnung
schieben.
Anschluss Spannungsversorgung
Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie bei Montagearbeiten
zunächst die Netzspannung frei.
Beachten Sie bitte auch die zulässige
Betriebstemperatur des Gerätes. Nicht neben
Geräten mit hoher Wärmeentwicklung installieren!
7. Schließen Sie die SVR 8 - 52 V DC an den
OMC 1000 REG-GIG an, indem Sie „+" und „-"
vom Ausgang der Spannungsversorgung mit „+"
und „-" des Gerätes verbinden.
8. Öffnen Sie die Staubschutzkappe und schließen
Sie Ihr Ethernet Gerät über Patchkabel am RJ45
Anschluss an.

Intended use
The device is a central component for fixed installation and permits the
establishment of a POF distribution in a customary sub distribution unit.
Only use this device for these purposes. Operate the device indoor only.

only be performed by a qualified electrician!
Installation
Montage
1. Place the OMC 1000 REG-GIG on the DIN-rail
and latch it in.
Cutting and connecting the POF-cable
After having placed the POF-cable shorten it to the
appropriate length by using the POF-Cutter as
described below and make sure that both fibres are
equally long:
1. Carefully split the cable down the middle and
make sure that there is no unevenness on the
coating which could hinder the inserting of the
cable.
2. Insert the cable into the POF-Cutter and cut it by
pressing the blade.
3. Open the POF-terminal by slightly pulling out the
black terminal.
4. Remove the red protection cap.

5. Insert the POF-cable. Make sure that it is pushed
cable
all the way up to the stop to guarantee a safe
connection (app. 2.5 mm).
6. Close the POF-terminal by pushing the terminal
into the opening.
Connecting the power supply
Danger for life!
Disconnect the main voltage first before
doing any mounting work.
Please also observe the permitted operation
temperature. Do not install beside next to devices
with high heat evolution!
7. Connect the SVR 8 - 52 V DC to the
OMC 1000 REG-GIG, connect "+" and "-" of the
terminal U out with the "+" and "-" of the device.
8. Remove the dust cover and connect your
ethernet device to the RJ45 interface via patch
cable.
