Safety information of the batteries
- Cells or batteries should not be short-circuited. Cells or batteries should not be
stored safely in a box or in a drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be
short-circuited by other conductive materials
Manual_24sevenStop_2020-01 EN
- Cells or batteries should not be subjected to mechanical shocks.
- If a cell leaks, make sure the fluid does not get in contact with the skin or get into
the eyes. If contact has occurred, wash the affected area with plenty of water and
seek medical help.
- Cells or batteries that are not designed to use with the device should not be used.
- After prolonged storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or
batteries several times for full performance.
- Do not ignite the battery or expose it to combustion. Avoid the storage in direct
sunlight.
- For an optimal battery performance, avoid deep discharge cycles! Charge your
battery often.
- Batteries do not discharge deeply! Deep discharging damages the battery cells!
The most common cause for the discharge of battery packs is long storage or non-
use of partially discharged batteries. End the work process as soon as the power
noticeably declines or the protection electronics respond. Store the battery only
after full charge.
- Do not overcharge the batteries! Observe the maximum load times. These charging
times apply only to discharged batteries. Multiple insertion of a charged or partially
charged battery leads to overcharging and cell damage. Do not leave batteries in
the charger for several days.
- Cells and batteries do not load for longer time if they are not used.
- Cells and batteries have the best performance when operated at normal room
temperature.
- No other chargers may be used than those which are specifically intended for use
with the equipment.
- If the connections of cells or batteries are dirty, clean with a dry, clean cloth
