to the dongle via Wi-Fi Direct (refer to Owner's manual
of the external device). Default password is: 12345678.
6. On the external device open screen sharing app:
• Android:
• Samsung: SmartView
• Huawei: Multi-screen
• Xiaomi: Wireless Display
• Other: Screen Cast
• iOS: Screen mirroring
• Windows 10: Project app
• MacOS: Mirror Airplay Display
Connecting the dongle to the WiFi network
Connection to local WiFi network is required to use Airplay and
DLNA function. To connect the dongle to local WiFi network:
1. Repeat steps 1-4 from previous paragraph.
2. Connect the external device to the dongle. Input default
password: 12345678.
3. Open web browser and type in the adress bar:
192.168.49.1

4. Go to WiFi AP menu.
5. Select Scan option.
6. After a while there will be shown available WiFi
networks. Select network and type in password, if
needed.
7. Press the Connect button.
8. The external device will be disconnected. The dongle will
reboot and connect to local network.
Password change
To change the password:
1. Connect the external device to the dongle. Input default
password: 12345678.
2. Open web browser and type in the adress bar:
192.168.49.1
3. Go to Settings menu.
4. In Password field type in new password.
5. Press the Submit button. The dongle will reboot with

new password. After password change connect to the
dongle using new password.
Reseting the dongle
If the device has crashed or has to be disconnected from
network, press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds.
The device will perform reset and reboot with default settings.
Firmware update
1. Connect the device to WiFi network. Perform steps from
"Connecting the dongle to the WiFi network" paragraph.
2. The device will autmatically check for firmware updates.
3. If there is an update available, the device will
automatically download and install it.
4. After installation the device will perform a reboot.
Attention: During an update do not disconnect the device from
power supply and network. Do not use the device during an
update.
