Directions for Use

1. Connect the mating end of the adapter cable to the RF generator.
2. Connect the opposite end of the adapter cable to the RF electrode.
3. Ensure that the readings of the temperature and impedance are within the normal range.
CAUTION: This product is not validated for sterilization because it operates
outside of the sterile field. For cleaning, please follow the cleaning instructions
below. Before and after cleaning, and before each use, inspect the product for
any signs of damage or corrosion. Do not use if any damage or corrosion is
observed.

To remove gross matter, wipe the product with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a soft lint-free

cloth (alcohol gauze wipes are acceptable).
Wipe until visibly clean.

Do not submerse the connectors in any liquid.

Inspect for visible foreign matter and re-clean if necessary.


Handling and Storage

The adapter cable should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

The Instructions for Use is recyclable.

Dispose of all packaging materials as appropriate.

Dispose of products and accessories per standard solid biohazard waste procedures.

Incident Reporting
If in the course of use of this device, you have reason to believe that a serious incident occurred,
please report it to the manufacturer. For customers in the European Union, report the serious
incident to your national authority as well as to the manufacturer.
For user facilities in the United States, report a medical device-related serious injury to the
manufacturer, or to the FDA if the medical device manufacturer is unknown.
Warranty
Abbott Medical warrants that the item(s) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for 30 days from the date of supply.
