Offgridtec PCB-ETFE und ETFE-AL Serie
General
Due to the semi-flexibility of the modules, they must be handled with special care, as incorrect handling can lead to hairline
cracks in the solar cells.
Make sure not to exceed the maximum bending radius at any time (both during transport and during assembly/cleaning of the
modules).
On receipt, you should check the module for any transport damage (cell breakage, scratches, etc.). Possible colour deviations
(lighter to white spots) do not represent a defect or a reduction in performance, but are the result of the manufacturing process.
Before installation, you should provide all the necessary installation materials. Never grip the module in the middle of one side.
The maximum bending radius is exceeded. Only ever lift on one side with both hands. Grip from the outside if possible.
Failure to do so will result in cell breakage and will void the warranty. We recommend to do the mounting by two people.
Mounting

The assembly / transport of the modules must be carried out by at least two persons.

Mounting forms: Gluing; fixing via eyelets.

Gluing:

- Use only approved glue with the appropriate preparation measures (available in the online store).

Cleaning
•
Check the module surface regularly for soiling
•
Remove dirt (bird droppings, etc.) immediately.
•
Clean the module only with running, lime-free water (osmosis, distilled or rain-water).
•
To prevent deposits, you should not clean in the direct sun.
Cleaning by a washing system or high pressure cleaner can damage the modules and is therefore prohibited.
