Safety Instructions
In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these
operating instructions, the warranty will expire.
We do not assume liability for resulting damages.
The product should be out of reach of children.
Be careful during assembly. The product has some sharp edges, there is a risk injury.
Only fi x the monitor arm to a suffi ciently stable tabletop/table.
Glass or ceramic tables or tables made of stone plates or thin plastic coated wood fi bre slabs
are not suitable for the installation.
Furthermore, the monitor arm must not be fi xed onto shelves or similarly unstable or wobbly
surfaces.
Because of the lever action a very strong mechanical strain has its effect on the tabletop,
despite the relatively low weight of the monitor arm and the LCD monitor.
This is why there could be pressure marks, especially on the underside of the tabletop (due
to the two attachment screws). This is why it should not be fi xed to valuable tables/furniture.
Only fi x LCD monitors to the monitor arm which are suitable in terms of their weight.
Installation
Do not scratch your table surface when assembling.
If necessary use e.g., a protective mat or several layers of thick newspaper.
Depending on the thickness of the table, two fastening
possibilities exist for the table mount. Fix the holding
angle with the two attachment screws with the two
screws to one of the two positions:
• Top position
for tabletops up to approx. 55mm
• Lower position (see illus. right)
for tabletops up to approx. 100mm
Stick the anti-slip rubber to the table mount, if the manu-
facturer has not done it yet already.
Then screw the table mount to the most suitable place
on the table.

mount. There are three possible
positions, so that you can use the

height for you.
Then put on the plastic cover.
Before fi xing the LCD monitor, you
have to remove the foot of the LCD
monitor. Please observe the instruc-
tions of the manufacturer regarding
how to go about it.
For the installation of the LCD mo-
nitor to the monitor arm, the help of
a second person is necessary. This
person should hold the LCD monitor,
while you screw it to the mount with
suitable screws.
If you are using a pivot software (to turn the LCD monitor edgeways), please control the correct
position of the mount before you screw it tight, so that you can turn the monitor into the desired
direction (90° towards the left or 90° towards the right).
Now you can fi x the cables via the included cover onto the monitor arm.
Handling
Do not use any force when moving/turning/changing the LCD monitor, this might damage the
LCD monitor.
Only fi x the monitor arm in suitable positions. Please take the heavy lever action of the monitor
arm into consideration.
Please occasionally check the screw connections of table mount, monitor arm and LCD moni-
tor. Because of the changing of positions and the movement of the monitor arm and the LCD
monitor, the screw connections might gradually loosen.
Tips & Notes
For the use of the LCD monitor in edgeway position, pivot software is necessary.
This is a software which causes the graphic card to turn the PC-VGA picture by 90°.
If such a software is not included with your LCD monitor, you should ask your shop or LCD
monitor manufacturer for it or look for it on the Internet.
It could also be, that an up-to-date VGA driver of your graphic card already offers you a monitor
display with a 90° turn.
For safety reasons the monitor arm with the monitor should only be above the table-
top.
