Note
The two Leica video modules, ICC A (Integrated Camera
Compound – Analogue) für Leica DML microscopes and IC A
(Integrated Camera – Analogue) for Leica M-series stereo-
microscopes, are similar in design. Their uses are identical;
their functions are also identical and are described in detail
in the user manual M2-393-004.
The present document describes only those functions and
technical data in which the Leica ICC A differs from the IC A.
Before you try to set up and use the Leica ICC A, read the user
manual M2-393-004, paying particular attention to the safety
instructions.

Overview
The standard delivery includes:
1 Leica ICC A video module, PAL or NTSC
2 Power unit and connecting cable for Leica ICC A video
module, with power cable
3 S-VHS cable for monitor or video recorder
You also require:
4 Leica DML microscope stand
5 Binocular tube
6 TV monitor
7 Connection to PC with frame grabber, Y/C inlet

Use in medicine
The video modules Leica ICC A (for Leica DML micro-
scopes) and IC A (for Leica M stereomicroscopes) have
not been tested in accordance with the German medical
products law (MPG), or with IEC 601-1-1 (Europe), or with
FDA or FDI (USA). The video modules may be used only
if compliance with these standards is not required.
