On the rear you find also the USB port. Please connect this USB port with
the USB cable to a free USB port on your computer. Please do NOT use an
USB Hub.
The MIDI Thru port sends the MIDI signal from the MIDI Input directly,
without going thru the computer, to the MIDI Thru port. There will be NO
mix with the data from the PC. To use this MIDI Thru function, the
Midiface 1x1 Thru must be connected for the power with the USB port to a
computer or USB DC power adaptor.
Because the Midiface 1x1 Thru is "class compliant", you do not need to
install a driver. If the Midiface 1x1 is not recognised correct, please update
your mainboards or notebooks USB chipset drivers. Also please update for
Intel system the Intel.inf drivers, for AMD systems the AMD chipset
drivers.
The Midiface 1x1 is full USB powered, you do not need additional power or
batteries.
