2.2.1 Backlight

Press 'Backlight' to change the brightness of the screen. You can make it darker or brighter by clicking " - " or
" + ".

2.2.2 Volume

Press ' Vol' you can modify the volume of the sound.You can lower or higher the sound by clicking " - " or " + ".

2.2.3 Date/Time

This device can auto-set the current date and time by receiving three GPS signals. You can also change it by
yourself. Just click ' 2002' and scroll V or W to choose the right year you want. Do the same to set the month ,
day and time.

2.2.4 Calibration

This function calibrates the unit to respond to your screen taps. You will only need to use this function if the
unit begins to respond inconsistently to your screen taps.

2.2.5 Language

&KDQJH WKH /DQJXDJH GLVSOD\HG LQ WKH PDLQ V\VWHP PHQXV DQG IHDWXUHV 7DS WKH UHTXLUHG ,FRQ WR FKDQJH
language shown on the GPS. 6 options are available. This will only affect the Main system menu. It will not
change the spoken or displayed language of the GPS Navigation software.

2.2.6 GPS Receiver

This page gives your current position in degrees longitude and latitude, your current speed and the status of
your position, i.e. Fixed 3D or Fixed Invalid etc. The compass circle shows the satellites that the unit is recei-
ving and the bar chart below shows the strength of the signal from each of these satellites. To exit this page,
touch the cross in the top right of the screen.

At least three GPS signals are required for the GPS to function. There may be occasions within your home or
building when the signal strength is limited and GPS Receiver Mode may not be possible. This is quite normal

prevents the GPS receiver acquiring a valid signal. In these cases you may have to use the external antenna.
