Mivoc TRICONE
Floor-standing Loudspeakers SW
Item no. 32 58 93
Intended Use
The loudspeakers are designed to convert electric output signals from audio amplifiers into
audible sound waves and they are only approved for connection to loudspeaker outputs on
such devices.
The product may only be used indoors; never outdoors. Do not expose to moisture, for exam-
ple in bathrooms or similar spaces.
Any other use than the one described above may lead to damage to the loudspeakers and
involves other risks, such as short-circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume liability for any resulting damage.
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information in the ope-
rating instructions.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice for operating the
product.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the loudspeakers is
not permitted.
• The manufacturer's safety instructions for devices to which the loudspeakers will be con-
nected must also be observed. You should, therefore, also carefully read other relevant ope-
rating instructions.
• Do not keep any magnetic storage media, such as computer disks, videocassettes, etc., near
the loudspeaker as the magnetic field from the loudspeaker may corrupt the information stored
on these media.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hea-
ring.
• Do not expose the loudspeaker to high temperatures, drips or water spray, strong vibrations
or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that are
not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service
or another specialist.
Product features
• 2-way system with two passive membranes
• 25mm silk dome tweeter
• Transparent and powerful sound pattern
• Balanced crossover, with quality components
• High load capacity
• Vibration-free front grid with fabric covering
Set-up
Do not stand the loudspeakers in the direct vicinity of monitors, such as TVs
or computer monitors. The magnetic fields generated by the loudspeakers
may distort the image.
When setting up the loudspeakers, make sure that they are on a stable base
and that you find a correspondingly stable surface to place them on.
Serious injury could be caused if the loudspeakers were to fall down.
To achieve the best possible sound, attempt to implement the following suggestions for the
positioning in your listening room, within the framework of your possibilities:
• Place the loudspeakers in locations that are as equidistant as possible to your listening loca-
tion (equilateral triangle).
• In rectangular rooms, the loudspeakers should be set up along the short wall, if possible.
• The tweeters should be approximately at the height of your ears.

Connection
• Connect the loudspeaker terminals on the rear of the loudspeakers to the corresponding
loudspeaker outputs on the amplifier.
- red or „+" connection to the positive loudspeaker connection on the amplifier
- black or „-" connection to the negative loudspeaker connection on the amplifier
• Pay attention to the loading capacity of the amplifier. The total impedance for the connected
loudspeakers must not fall short of the minimum impedance for the amplifier.
Disposal
Maintenance
Only clean the exterior of the loudspeaker with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the housing.
Do not touch the sensitive membranes.

Try out different installation options and different loudspeaker alignments, so you
can find which location is best for your listening room.
When connecting the loudspeakers, make sure that the connecting cables are
not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
The loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outputs on
audio devices.
Make sure the impedance and power rating indicated in the technical data
complies with the data for the amplifier connected. Otherwise the loudspea-
kers or the amplifier may be damaged.
The amplifier to which the loudspeakers are to be connected must be swit-
ched off when you make the connections.
Lay the connection cables so they do not present a tripping hazard.
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
