Personnel which installs and operates or maintains this device must have read and under-
stood these instructions.
Please avoid to look in the LED lighting directly or with an optical equipment. By the punc-
tually bright light there is a risk of eye damage.
The personnel must be thoroughly familiar with all warnings, notes and procedures

described in these operating instructions.

Where necessary, safety precautions and safety devices must comply with the applicable
regulations.

Damaged products must neither be installed nor put into operation.

The LEDs specified in this data sheet fall into the "low risk" group (relating to devices in

the visible spectrum with an exposure time of 100 s). Under real circumstances (for expo-
sure time, eye pupils, observation distance), it is assumed that no endangerment to the
eye exists from these devices.

It should be mentioned that intense light sources have a high secondary exposure po-
tential due to their blinding effect. As is also true when viewing other bright light sources
(e.g. headlights), temporary reduction in visual acuity and afterimages can occur, lea-
ding to irritation, annoyance, visual impairment, and even accidents, depending on the
situation.

5 Mounting and connecting
Fasten the luminaire on a flat surface to the mounting points provided for this purpose.
The RST16i3 plug-in connection is locked and strain-relieved
in the direction of the plug.
Pulling forces caused by the supply line are not permissible
(see figure).
