Initial commissioning

The document safe is closed at delivery. To open the safe cabinet, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the four AA batteries into the external battery box (see scope of delivery,
items 3 and 4). Make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct in the battery box.
2. Insert the plug of the external battery box into the socket at the bottom of the keypad
(see figure 1).
3. Open the lock by placing any finger on the fingerprint sensor. If the sensor has
correctly detected your finger, the border of the sensor and the LED-RIGHT symbol
(top left) will turn blue and a clicking noise will sound. Now turn the door handle
(keypad) clockwise to the right within 5 seconds and open the door.
4. Unplug the battery box from the keypad and remove the batteries from the
battery box.
5. Now open the battery compartment on the inside of the door and insert the four batteries
into the battery compartment. Make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct.
Then close the battery compartment again.
6. Your cabinet is now ready for use. Now you can enter a personal numerical code
and reprogram
"Changing the fingerprint sensor and the numerical code".
3.3 Inserting the shelf
The safe cabinet is equipped with an adjustable shelf. The shelf rests on four shelf supports.
To insert the shelf, the four shelf supports must be hooked into the notches on the side
walls.
IMPORTANT: The short leg of the shelf support must be pushed from above into the
side wall notch. The shelf is then placed on the long leg of the shelf supports.
3.4 Operating instructions electronic lock
3.4.1 Operation with fingerprint sensor
Opening the door with fingerprint
•
Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. If the sensor has correctly detected your
finger, the border of the sensor and the LED-RIGHT symbol (top left) will light up blue, a
beep will sound and shortly after that a clicking noise will sound.

Now turn the door handle (keypad) clockwise to the right within 5 seconds and open
the door.
Error messages when opening the door with fingerprint
•
If the fingerprint sensor did not recognise your finger (e.g. because the finger was not
placed correctly or was placed for too short a time on the sensor), the blue LED border of
the fingerprint sensor will flash.

If the fingerprint sensor has detected a non-programmed finger, the blue LED border of
the fingerprint sensor will illuminate, a ring tone will sound and the ERROR symbol (top
right) will illuminate blue.
Fingerprint programming
•
Open the cabinet door and press the programming button on the bottom of the door.
Two short beeps will sound and the blue LED border of the fingerprint sensor will flash.
•
Now place
fingerprint sensor. A short beep will sound each time the finger is placed on the
surface. If the programming of the finger has been successfully completed, a double beep
will sound after the fourth touch of the finger and then a long beep. (If three short beeps
are heard, the programming of the finger has failed).
