With the help of the user instruction of the product and the inspection sheet, and without any specific tool or a particular measuring device.
Observe and touch each component of the product in order to detect possible anomalies. If one or more checkpoints are defective, the
harness must be withdrawn from service and replaced by a compliant device. The use of this document for periodic inspection is reserved for
competent persons.
Inspect the visual aspect of the product; the device must be verifiable.
Shell:

Check the condition of the helmet's shell (inside and outside). It must not be marked, deformed, cracked or burned. It must
not show any signs of impact or marks of any kind. Warning! Personalising the helmet using chemical products (marker, paint,
etc.) is strictly prohibited.
Also check the condition of the slots, accessory fixing holes and vents.
Liner (anthracite polystyrene component):

Check the condition of the lining. While taking care not to disassemble or damage the lining attached to the helmet's shell,
remove the comfort elements in order to have a complete view of it. It must not be marked, deformed, cracked or burned. It
must not show any signs of impact or marks of any kind.
Headband:

Check the condition of the headband. While taking care not to disassemble or damage the headband attached to the helmet's
shell, remove the comfort elements in order to have a complete view of the headband. Check its fasteners, make sure that it
does not have any defects such as cracks, wear, breakage, burns, deformation, etc.
Comfort elements:

Check the condition of the comfort elements. They must not contain parts that could interfere with the use of the helmet.
Adjustment system:

Check the condition and operation of the adjustment system and its fasteners. They must not be worn, deformed or be missing
parts. Turn the adjustment knob in both directions and pull the adjustment system. The adjustment must remain correct.
Suspension:

Check the condition of the suspension, straps and fasteners must not show any defects such as wear, cuts, burns or
deformation.
Chinstrap:

Check the condition of the chinstrap and its tightening elements. No element must be worn, cut, burned or deformed. Check
the webbing parts over their entire length, paying particular attention to the parts hidden by the plastic elements. Check the
condition of the chinstrap buckle and its operation. Close the buckle and then tug gently on the chinstrap: the buckle must not
open.
Headlamp mounting hooks:

Check the condition of the headlamp mounting hooks. No defects such as wear, deformation, etc.
No elements should be missing.
Accessories & accessory mounting holes:

If there are accessories on the helmet (example: visor), checking their condition and operation is mandatory. Also check their
fixing holes; they must not be deformed and no elements may be missing.
State of wear:
Evaluate the state of wear, keeping the above inspections in mind, as well as the product's general appearance
