then wipe it dry. Keep the Sketch Projector in its
original packaging to avoid scratches and to
facilitate transport.
9. Disposal
Dispose of the article and packaging materials in
accordance with the applicable local regulations.
Packaging materials such as foil bags are not
suitable for children. Keep the packaging material
out of the reach of children.
Dispose of products and packaging in
an environmentally friendly manner.
The recycling code is used to
identify the different materials
for recycling purposes. The
code consists of the recycling symbol, which
should represent the recycling cycle, and a
number that identifies the material.

10. Warranty

Warranty from Karsten International
Dear customer, from the date of purchase you will
receive a three-year warranty on this device. You
are entitled to legal claims against the seller of
this product in case of defects. These legal claims
are not limited by the warranty we provide, as
described below.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a
safe place. This receipt is required as proof of
purchase. If a material or manufacturing defect
occurs within three years of the purchase of this
product, we will, at our option, either repair
or replace the product free of charge for you
or refund the purchase price. To qualify for this
warranty service, the defective device and proof
of purchase (receipt) must be presented within the
three-year period and a brief description of the
defect and the time at which it occurred must be
provided. If the defect is covered by our warranty,
the repaired product or a new product will be
returned to you. Upon repair or replacement of

the product, the original warranty period does not
start again.
Warranty Period and Legal Claims for
Defects
The warranty period is not extended due to the
granting of a claim. This also applies to replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage or defects that
already exist at the time of purchase must be
notified to us immediately after unpacking the
product. A fee will be charged for necessary
repairs after the warranty period has expired.
Scope of Warranty
The device has been carefully manufactured
according to strict quality guidelines and carefully
tested before delivery. The warranty covers
material or manufacturing defects.
It does not cover product parts that are subject
to normal wear and tear and can therefore be
considered consumable parts, nor does it cover
damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, batteries
or glass parts. This warranty is void if the product
is accidentally damaged, improperly used or
improperly maintained.
To ensure proper use of the product, all
instructions in the user manual must be followed
in full. Applications and actions, of which in the
Instructions for use are not recommended or
warned against under all circumstances to avoid.
The product is intended exclusively for private
use and not for commercial use. Any misuse,
use of force or activities not performed by our
authorized regional service center will void the
warranty.
Procedure for warranty claims
To ensure that your request can be processed
quickly, please follow the instructions below:
• Please have the receipt and the article
number IAN356248 as proof of purchase
for all inquiries.
• The article number can be found on the
identification label on the product, the
engraving on the product, the title page of
your user manual (bottom left) or the sticker
on the back or bottom of the product.
• If malfunctions or other defects occur, please
first contact the service department listed
below by telephone or e-mail.
• A product registered as defective can then
be sent by you, postage paid, to the service
address provided. It is essential that you
enclose proof of purchase (receipt) and
information about the details of the defect
and when it occurred.
