Wireless outdoor temperature sensor
SEW is a wireless outdoor temperature sensor that monitors temperature
and sends a signal to an Industrietechnik Modbus receiver.
Commissioning
The sensor should be placed out of direct sunlight and in a place with
unobstructed air circulation.
The sensor must be paired with the receiver before it can be used.
Installation of batteries
1. Open the cover by pressing the locking tabs carefully with a screwdriver

Paring the sensor with the receiver
Look in the receiver instruction for information on how to pair the sensor
with the receiver.
Paring/connection test
The connection to the receiver must be tested before mounting the sensor.
1. Place the receiver and the sensor at the desired locations.
2. For MR32W: Push the Test button to activate the display
3. Perform a Walk test: Press the Test button on the sensor to see if the
location is within signal range of the receiver.
LED light
3 flashes (When Test button is pressed): The sensor is not paired with the
receiver.
Flashing (When Test button is pressed): The sensor is paired with the
receiver.
Flash every 4 seconds: Batteries need to be replaced.

1. Use the screw holes in the casing to mount the sensor on the wall

Temperature detection
Description
The sensor monitors the temperature at a preset time interval (factory
setting is 2 minutes), and if the temperature has changed by more than ± 1°C
it will send a signal to the receiver. If the temperature is stable, the sensor
will transmit a signal every 95-115 minutes.

The sensor will automatically send a supervisory signal to the receiver at an

The receiver will indicate "out of signal" if it has not received the signal at a
preset interval.
