Selfie light

Intended use
The product is intended to be used as a mobile light source. With its small design and conve-
nient clip-on feature, it can be used to give your selfies better lighting. It is possible to choose
from 3 different brightness levels.
The product is powered by a non-replaceable, rechargeable battery, which can be charged,
e.g., from a suitable USB power adapter or the USB port of a notebook/computer.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be damaged. Further-
more, improper use may cause risks such as short-circuits, fire, etc. Please read the operating
instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third party, please
hand over these operating instructions as well.
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of

Safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention
to the safety instructions. We do not assume liability for any injuries/material
damages resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the
information in these operating instructions regarding the proper use of the
product. Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and
void.
a) General information
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations
and combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible signs of damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• Please handle the product with care. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look directly or with optical instruments into the light!
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work should only be carried out by an expert
or a specialised workshop.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
• Rechargeable battery
• The rechargeable battery is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly (about every 3 months), even if you
don't use the product. Otherwise the battery may become deeply discharged,
which would cause permanent damage to it.
• Any damage to the casing may also lead to battery damage. Leaking or damaged
batteries can cause acid burns upon contact with the skin. Wear protective gloves
if fluids leak out of the battery/product.
• Do not recharge the battery if the product is damaged. Instead, dispose of the
product in an environmentally compatible manner.
• Do not throw the product into a fire. There is danger of explosion due to the re-
chargeable battery!
Operation
a) Charging
Turn off the selfie light before charging.
• Press the clip. The micro USB socket inside the casing will then become visible.
• You can connect the selfie light to a USB power adapter or a USB port of a computer or USB
hub via the supplied USB cable. Plug your USB power adapter into a mains socket or switch
on the computer.
Using the micro USB socket, the selfie light can also be charged with the corresponding USB
power adapter of your smartphone or tablet.
• When the battery is fully discharged, the charging process takes approx. 1 hour; a red LED
lights up whilst the battery is charging. The red LED goes out once the battery is fully char-
ged. Disconnect the selfie light from the power supply.
b) Fastening
• Using the clip, you can clamp the selfie light to any object, e.g., a selfie stick or even your
smartphone/tablet.
• Align it with the front facing you (the side with the button is the back).
c) Switching on/off, selecting brightness
• Press the small control button on the back briefly to switch on the selfie light. The lowest
brightness level is now activated.
• You can select one of the three brightness levels (low, medium, high) by briefly pressing the
control button repeatedly.
• To switch off the selfie light, hold the control button down for a longer period of time.
Care and cleaning
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the casing or even impair operation.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household was-
te. Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
