II. Application
• The glasses are intended for protection of eyes against fly-
ing objects, which are at room temperature. The glasses
meet the requirements for class F protection against fly-
ing objects (see. detailed specifications of protection class
against impact), however, in order to provide protection
within the scope of this class, they must be used within
the ambient temperature range of -3 ° to + 50 °C.
• The glasses are not intended for protecting eyes
against sparks, etc. and glaring light.

ATTENTION
• If the symbols F, B and A are not the same on the
lenses and the frame, then the eye protection device is
assigned the lower level of protection.
• In order for the protective device to be designated
with symbol 8, it must have a protective filter number
of 2-1.2 or 3-1.2 and a thickness of at least 1.4 mm.
• In order for the eye protection device designated with
symbol 9 to conform to the application, the frame and
lens must both be marked with this symbol together
with one of the symbols F, B or A.
Note:
• When using protection against high velocity particles
at extreme temperatures, it is necessary for the
selected eye protection device to additionally have
the designation with letter T provided immediately
following the letter for impact, i.e. FT, BT or AT. If the
number for impact is not followed by the letter T, then
the eye protection device may only be used against
high velocity particles at room temperature.

• According to norm EN 166, glasses conforming to class
F must provide protection against a metal ball of diameter
6 mm and weight 0.86 g and moving at a velocity of 45 m/s.

UV filter: 400 (UV filter at sun glass level for radiation
with a wave length up to 400 nm). The glasses are not
intended for gazing into the sun.
IV. Operation
•
ATTENTION
• Prior to putting on the glasses, check that the lenses
and frames are not cracked or scratched. Any form of
damage reduces the protective function of the glasses.
Replace damaged glasses with new ones.
• To avoid scratching them, do not put the glasses down
on the lenses.
• Protect the glasses against heat, long term sun
radiation and prevent them from coming into contact
with hot items.
•
ATTENTION
• On sensitive people, the material of the glasses may
induce an allergic reaction at the point of contact with
the skin. If this happens, do not use the glasses.
V. Maintenance
• The maximum lifetime of the glasses is two years because
plastic ages and thereby changes its characteristics.
• Wash the lenses and frames of the glasses using warm
soapy water and dry them using a soft absorbent fabric.
• For cleaning, do not use abrasive cleaning products such
as liquid sand and degreasing agents based on organic
solvents, e.g. acetone, this would damage the glasses.
• The glasses can be disinfected using gentle water-based
disinfectants (e.g. 3 % hydrogen peroxide solution)
VI. Storage
• Store the glasses within a temperature range of 5 to
40 °C and at a relative humidity up to 90 %.
• Protect the glasses against scratching and against
organic solvents.
When not using the glasses, place them into a case or
another protective package.
