2. General information

The instrument is designed in accordance with safety class II. It is built and tested in
accordance with DIN EN 60335-1; VDE 0700-1:2012-10:2012-10, safety regulations for
electrical instruments. It left our warehouse working perfectly well and safely. To maintain
the proper safety and operational function of the instrument, the user must respect the
instructions and safety guidelines of this manual.
The device is supplied with a USB power adapter 5VDC / 300 mA as standard and can
be operated with an external USB power bank.

2.1 Unpacking the instrument

Unpack the instrument carefully and check to see that it is not damaged. It is important
that any damage incurred during transport, such as indented sides of the carton,
chemical impairment of the carton, water stains or other physical impacts which might
have damaged the content, be recognized at the time of unpacking. Notify your
carrier or forwarding agent immediately in case of such damage. You may unpack the
carton carefully if there is no visible damage of the packing material.

2.2 Safety instructions

Note:
If the instrument is not damaged and all parts are complete, you may
start to operate the device after reading the instruction manual.
