Intended Use
The DJ headphone is used to convert electrical output signals from headphone outputs into
acoustical signals (sound waves).
It is only licensed for connection to the headphone outputs of audio devices.
Any use other than that described above is not permitted. It will lead to damage to the product.
In addition it involves other risks, such as short circuits, fire, electric shock etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted!
The safety instructions have to be observed at all times!
Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will lapse in case of damage caused by failure to
comply with these operating instructions! We shall not be liable for any con-
sequential loss!
We do accept any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused
by incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions! The guar-
antee/warranty will lapse in such cases.
The exclamation mark symbol indicates important informations in these
operating instructions.
Read the through the operating instructions completely before setting up the
device; they include important information for correct operation.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product are not
permitted.
• Make sure that the device is put correctly into operation. Observe these operating instructions
during setup.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, humidity, strong vibration or heavy mechani-
cal loads.
• Contact a specialist if you have any doubt about how the equipment functions, the safety or
about how to connect the product.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for
children.
• Observe also the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the device.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for longer periods of time. This can damage your
hearing.
Function description
The DJ headphone is a dynamic headphone the frequency response of which is tuned to DJ ope-
ration.
The coiled connecting cable prevents spaghetti in the DJ's working area.
The gold-plated 3.5-mm stereo jack with an adapter on a 6-3-mm stereo jack ensure compatibi-
lity with devices readily available on the market.
Initial operation
In order to ensure that operation is started up correctly, do not fail to read these
operating instructions including the safety instructions thoroughly and attenti-
vely before using the system.
To avoid distortion or mismatching which could damage the headphone or
the connected mixer, the product may only be connected to suitable head-
phone outputs. For this, observe also the connection data in the section
"Technical Data".
If your mixer does not have a suitable jack for connection of the headphone,
please use suitable adapters.
• Switch off the mixer to which the headphone is connected.
• Plug the stereo jack into the headphone jack.
• If your mixer has a 6.3-mm headphone jack, plug the supplied adapter on to the connecting
plug and screw it in.
• Switch on the mixer.
• Adjust the volume with the headphone volume control of the mixer.

If the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the current
statutory regulations.
