Please read the assembly instructions before proceeding!
1.1. Safety
In order to ensure safe and faultless function of the appliance, please read and follow these points:
•Any modification of the appliance (electrical or mechanical) is not permitted.
•Electrical components (e.g. control electronics) must be protected from water and other fluids.
•The device may not be put on the side or top (e.g., during the preparation, installation, etc.).
The device may be inclined max. 45°.
•If the appliance was not in upright position (e.g. before installation), it must not be started the
next hour, because the liquid in the compressor must flow back.
1.2. Assembly and connections
•Please make sure that during installation sufficient air circulation for cooling the appliance is
available (ventilation grid on the back of the appliance must not be blocked).
•The appliance works with direct current (DC) with 36 Cells PV Panels(12V) direct drive (Input
Voltage range 10-40 V DC). Both PV Panels must be connected in parallel to avoid excessing
max. input voltage. The two PV panels are to be oriented to east and west respectively to extend
the operation of the refrigerator in the morning and evening.After successful installation,
establish the electrical connection. To do so, connect the plug of the appliance with the correctly
polarized coupling. The cable colors have the following meaning: Red: +; Black: -
The appliance works without electrical batteries. Instead, an integrated ice-storage delivers coo
ling energy during night. Please let the refrigerator empty for the first 24 hours after installation.
•Incorrect connection may cause damage of electronic system.
1.3. Maintenance
Cleaning with water and washing-up liquid and soft textile cloths or sponges is recommend.
Afterwards, the appliance must be dried.
•Please avoid high cooling loads (more than 5 kg at once or more than 10 kg per day) to assure a
right operation of the direct drive refrigerator.
•Do not use caustic cleaning agents, solvents or aggressive agents. Do not use soap either (danger
of smell), except lighter fluid.
•Do not use hard or sharp objects.
1.4. Troubleshooting

Error removal
- NORMAL Operation: The cooling energy is delivered by the integrated
ice-storage during night while the compressor remains off.
- Check cable polarization and PV Connections
- Clean contacts
- Exchange fuse
