Assembly Instruction:
SCHEUERLE-NOOTEBOOM – EURO COMBI
with MERCEDES Actros SLT heavy haulage tractor

The SCHEUERLE-NOOTEBOOM trailer has 6 sections to be assembled to make
a
complete
trailer.
Please
familiarize
yourself
with
each
section
before starting assembly.
Section 1: the last axle bogie of the trailer with 4 steerable axles
Section 2: the axle bogie of the trailer with 2 steerable axles
Section 3: the vesselbed (extendable and width adjustable)
Section 4: the couple adapter
Section 5: the axle bogie with 3 steerable axles
Section 6: the gooseneck to attach to tractor
1. Take section 1,2 and 3. Gently work the sections 1 and 2 together
and take the red pin and press it into the hinge. Pay attention to all
the axle arms. They should go to driving direction with the "knee" to
the front and "pull" the wheels.
2. Connect section 2 to the rear of section 3 the same way and note the
two hooks of section 3 in driving direction.
3. Take section 4 and 5. Fix section 4 to the rear of section 5 by
using a red pin.
4. Push the two hooks of section 3 into the intended devices of
section 4.
5. Take section 6 and connect it to the front of section 5 by using a
red pin.
6. Attach the gooseneck to the tractor.
7. Assemble the taillight-unit to the rear of section 1.
8. Put two of the enclosed track rods into the intended drillings on
the upper side of the axle bogie to get a common steering of section 1
and 2.
9. Put the enclosed track rod covers onto section 1, 2 and 5 and put
the enclosed wooden floor parts into the vesselbed.
Variations:
All axle bogies can be coupled to the vesselbed, at the gooseneck as
well as to each other. The vesselbed can be coupled alternatively to
all axle bogies or directly to the gooseneck.
Be careful moving the trailer while assembled as the sections are not
rigid joined!
