1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Verstärker CU-3BOOST wird benötigt, wenn
an ein Steuergerät mehr LED-Module oder LED-
Ketten als zulässig angeschlossen werden sol-
len. Die LED-Module bzw. LED-Ketten müssen
mit einer Betriebsspannung zwischen 12 V und
24 V arbeiten und das Steuergerät mit einer
Pulsbreitenmodulation, wie z. B. folgende Geräte
von „img Stage Line":

CU-3IR
CU-3LED
Der Gesamtstrom der LEDs darf 36 A nicht über-
schreiten.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit
zeichnet.

1 Applications
The amplifier CU-3BOOST is required for con-
necting more than the permitted number of LED
modules or LED strips to a controller. For this
purpose, the LED modules or LED strips must
have an operating voltage between 12 V and
24 V and the controller must have a pulse width
modulation, like e. g. the following units from
"img Stage Line":

The total current of the LEDs must not exceed
36 A.
2 Important Notes
This unit corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with

nes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemika-
lien oder Wasser.

geschlossen, überlastet oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden
und keine Garantie für das Gerät übernom-
men werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben
Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsor-
gung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Anschluss
Alle Klemmen lassen sich zum leichteren An-
schließen abziehen.
1) Die Eingänge INPUT des CU-3BOOST mit
den LED-Anschlüssen des Steuergerätes
verbinden (siehe Abb. unten).
2) Die LEDs an die Anschlüsse OUTPUT an-
gekenn-
schließen. Die Belastung durch die LEDs darf
insgesamt 36 A nicht überschreiten. Jede
Klem me kann aber mit max. 10 A belastet
werden.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or ma-

tended, if it is not correctly connected, if it is
overloaded, or if it is not repaired in an expert
way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which will not be
harmful to the environment.
3 Connection
To facilitate connection, all terminals can be re-
moved.
1) Connect the terminals INPUT of the CU-
3BOOST to the LED connections of the con-
troller (see figure below).
2) Connect the LEDs to the terminals OUTPUT.

The total load by the LEDs must not exceed
36 A. However, each terminal may have a
maximum load of 10 A.

3) Zur Stromversorgung wird ein stabilisiertes
Netzgerät benötigt. Das Netzgerät auf die
Spannung einstellen, die für die angeschlos-
senen LEDs benötigt wird (min. 12 V , max.
24 V ). Das Netzgerät muss den Strom lie-
fern können, der für den Betrieb der LEDs be-
nötigt wird. Die beiden Anschlusskabel des
CU-3BOOST mit dem Netzgerät verbinden.
Das gekennzeichnete Kabel mit dem Pluspol
des Netzgerätes verbinden! Sobald die Be-
triebsspannung am CU-3BOOST anliegt,
leuchtet die grüne LED POWER ON und der
Verstärker ist betriebsbereit.

3) For power supply, a regulated power supply
unit will be required. Set the power supply unit
to the voltage required for the LEDs con-
nected (12 V min., 24 V max.). The power
supply unit must be capable of supplying the
power required for operating the LEDs. Con-
nect the two cables of the CU-3BOOST to the
power supply unit. Connect the marked cable
to the positive pole of the power supply unit!
Once the operating voltage has been applied
to the CU-3BOOST, the green LED POWER
ON will light up and the amplifier will be ready
for operation.
