Preventive Maintenance Instructions
Routine maintenance or prompt cleaning
after a spill will help to maintain the
proper performance of the 2X sealer.
Any troubleshooting or repairs other than
cleaning must be referred to an IDEXX
Service Center.
1.
Ensure power supply is off, sealer is
unplugged and unit has completely cooled
down for at least 90 minutes. Remove
input tray shelf. Loosen four quarter-turn
fasteners and remove the access panel.

With access panel removed, confirm the
type of lower roller assembly is either
removable or non-removable.
The removable assembly will have hold-
down screws that secure the lower roller to
the sealer (a). The non-removable assembly
is depicted in photo (b).
Do not disassemble the lower roller
assembly unless it is a removable model.
3.
For the removable lower roller assembly
only:
Loosen the hold-down screws, which secure
the lower roller assembly to the bottom
plate of the sealer.
Remove lower roller by lifting straight up
and then out, to ensure roller clearance of
locating pins on the bottom plate of the
sealer.
Be careful not to touch the upper roller if it
is hot.

Cleaning should only be performed by
trained personnel. Allow unit to cool
at least 90 minutes before normal cleaning.
