4. SAFETY NOTES
1. This product is not a toy and should
not be used by children. Operate the
product out of the range of children. The
product contains a battery and small
parts that may be swallowed.
2. Only use this product as intended!
3. Do not manipulate or dismantle the
device!
4. For your own safety, only use accesso-
ries and spare parts that are stated in
these Instructions or are recommended
by the manufacturer!
5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Switching the thermometer on: In order to
switch the thermometer on, press the „Fkt" button on
the front of the device. After switching on, the device
will require about 2 seconds in order to measure the
indoor temperature. Then the display will show „IN"
and the temperature in ° Celsius.
Switching the displa: Pressing the „Fkt" button
repeatedly shows the „OUT" outdoor temperature,
followed by the time and then back to the „IN" indoor
temperature.
Setting the time: Use the „Fkt" button to change the
time display. Press the „Std" button to set the hours.
If you hold down the „Std" button for more than 2
seconds, you can set the hour display more quickly.
Press the „Min" button to set the minutes. If you hold
down the „Min" button for more than 2 seconds, you
can set the minutes display more quickly.
Changing the battery: Gently press the lid of the
battery compartment on the rear of the device and
rotate it anti-clockwise. Remove the lid and batteries
from the housing. Remove the used batteries from the
lid. Insert a new battery. Make sure that the plus pole
of the battery points towards the lid. Replace the lid
with battery back in the house and rotate it clockwise
until it is firmly engaged in the housing.
Switching the thermometer off: To switch off,
hold the „Ftk" button down for at least 4 seconds.

6. MAINTENANCE AND CARE

If used correctly, the thermometer is maintenance-
free. Store the thermometer in a dry location. Do not
expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrat-
ions or tremors. If necessary, clean the thermometer
with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive or solvent-
based cleaners or scouring agents.
7. NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION
Electronic devices are scrap and may not
be introduced into the household waste!
Please dispose of this device via the recyc-
ling bin or the public/municipal collection
points. Remove any contained batteries
from the product and dispose of these
separately.
The materials can be recycled- You make
an important contribution to protecting
our environment by recycling, material
utilisation or other forms of reusing waste
equipment!
Used batteries should not be disposed of in
the household waste. Your used batteries
may be handed in at the collection points
provided by your community or wherever
batteries are sold!
