USB TOWER FAN

Intended use
This product helps to improve air circulation in dry, enclosed rooms. The power supply is provided via a
USB port on a computer or a USB hub with power adaptor. A separate USB power adaptor that can deliver
a current of at least 500 mA can also be used. The keypad on the top of the device can be used to turn the
USB tower fan on/off, select one of two fan speeds and turn the oscillation function on/off.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
• Never push objects into the safety grill of the USB tower fan as this may cause injury. In
addition, the USB tower fan may be damaged, invalidating the warranty/guarantee!
• When the USB tower fan is in operation, small objects or hair may be drawn into the fan. This
presents a risk of injury.
• Never block the inlets and outlets, otherwise the device may overheat. Never attach any
decorations or similar objects to the USB tower fan.
• Only operate the USB tower fan via a suitable power supply, e.g. a USB port on a computer,
a USB port on a USB hub with an individual power adaptor or a power adaptor with a USB
power socket.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply.
Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor
complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• The power supply used must be sufficient (see "Technical data").
• Never pour liquids over or next to the device. This is a fire hazard.
• Only use the device in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.

Operation
1. Place the USB tower fan on a stable, flat surface of a sufficient size. Position the USB tower fan
approximately 50-70 cm from the object to the be ventilated.
When the oscillation function is on, the air flow from the fan oscillates at an angle of
approximately 75°.
2. Connect the low-voltage connector on the USB cable to the socket on the USB tower fan.
3. Connect the USB-A connector on the USB cable to a suitable power supply (e.g. a USB port on a
computer, a USB port on a USB hub with an individual power adaptor or a power adaptor with a USB
power socket).
4. Press the
POWER button (1) to turn the USB tower fan on/off.
5. Press the
DOWN button (2) to lower the fan speed of the USB tower fan.
6. Press the
UP button (3) to increase the fan speed of the USB tower fan.
7. Press the
SWING button (4) to turn the oscillation function of the USB tower fan on/off.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Begin by disconnecting the USB tower fan from the power supply - remove the low-voltage connector from
the socket on the tower fan.
• Maintenance or repair may only be carried out by a qualified technician or service centre. Under no
circumstances must components in the interior of the device be serviced by you. For this reason, never
open or dismantle these components.
• The device can be cleaned with a dry, soft and clean cloth. Do not press too hard on the device housing;
this can cause scratches.
• Dust can be easily removed using a long-haired. soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
• Never use abrasive cleaning materials, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these can corrode
the housing or even impair the normal functioning of the device.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
