K-88 Double keyboard stand

Intended use
This product is a suitable stand for two keyboards. It features three height settings. The maximum load is
25 kg.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use
can cause hazards such as injuries etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product
available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.

Operation
The product might tip over and thus cause severe injuries. Therefore, always secure
the immediate vicinity of the product and make sure that no persons are located there.
Perform the installation with utmost care. There is a risk of injuries such as contusions.
Do not move the product once keyboards have been installed.
For height adjustment, only use the three mounting holes according to the positions 1, 2
and 3 as illustrated. For stability reasons the other holes must not be used.
The product is pre-assembled for the most part. To complete the installation, you only have to
mount the cross brace (1).
• Select a clean, level, anti-slip and stable surface suitable to withstand the total weight of the product and
the keyboards you wish to install.
• Remove all packaging material and transport safety devices (if used).
• Unfold the supporting legs (8) to the desired height and secure that position by inserting the safety bolt (7)
into one of the three permissible mounting holes and through the frame. Secure the safety bolt with the
mounting nut (3).
• Swing the supporting arms (4) for the upper keyboard upwards and secure that position by connecting
both supporting arms with the cross brace (1).
• In order to do so, loosen the setscrew (2) at the center of the cross brace (1) and extend the cross brace
to the required length.
• Attach the thicker end of the cross brace (1) to the hole in the left supporting arm and the thinner end to
the hole in the right supporting arm.
• Secure the cross brace (1) on both sides from the outside using the washers and mounting nuts (3).
• Tighten the setscrew (2) at the center of the cross brace (1).
• Secure the supporting arms with one screw (5) and one mounting nut (3) each.
• The installation of the keyboard stand is now complete.
If the lower keyboard features suitable threads, you may secure the keyboard by screwing in the
two screws of the safety straps (6) into the threads of the keyboard.
Maintenance and cleaning
• To clean the product, use a soft, anti-static and lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
