7x Multiple Socket Outlet
with foot switch

Intended use
With this energy-saving 7x multiple socket outlet, you can switch a consumer connected to it on
or off by using the foot switch. You can connect and switch a maximum load of 3680 watts to the
multiple socket outlet.
The outlet socket with foot switch is only intended for dry indoor locations.
It is powered via 230 V/AC 50 Hz.
Any use other than that described above may damage the product and may involve other risks,
such as short-circuits, fire and electric shock. No part of the product may be changed or modi-
fied.
The safety instructions and technical data must be followed without fail!

Explanation of the symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of electric
shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, opera-
tion and control.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequenti-
al damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The war-
ranty will be null and void in such cases.
• The unauthorised opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not
permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a standard
mains socket (230V~/50Hz with protective earth) for the public supply grid may be
used as a power source.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around. Children might try to push objects
through the socket openings, for example. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The outlet socket with foot switch is only intended for operation in dry indoor loca-
tions.
• Never touch the product, or the mains plug, with wet or damp hands when trying
to connect it to the outlet socket. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• Never disconnect a mains plug connected to the outlet socket by pulling its cable.
Always pull the plug out of the socket by gripping the area provided for this purpo-
se on its sides.
• Do not overload the product (take note of the input power in the technical data at
the end of the operating manual!).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is con-
nected to the mains, do not touch the outlet socket with foot switch or a connected
device! First, switch off the mains socket to which the outlet strip is connected (i.e.
switch the circuit breaker off). You can then remove the outlet strip's earthed plug
from the mains socket. Take it to a specialised workshop or dispose of it in an envi-
ronmentally friendly way.

Start-up
• Plug the outlet socket's shockproof plug into a normal domestic mains socket (230 V/AC 50 Hz).
• If the outlet socket is turned on via the switch, the switch lights up. Make sure that the outlet
socket is turned off (switch = not glowing).
• Connect up to 7 consumers to the outlet socket (max. total load = 3680 watts!).
• Press the switch in order to supply the outlet socket with voltage and thus activate the con-
nected consumer. The switch is now lit.
• Press the switch again to turn off the outlet socket and thus the consumer connected to it.
Switch lights off.
The outlet socket requires <0,04 watts in the off state.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always disconnect the outlet socket from the mains before cleaning it.
Use a clean, lint-free, dry and anti-static cloth to clean the housing. Do not use abrasive or che-
mical agents, or cleaners containing solvents.

• Live components may be exposed, if the covers are opened or parts removed
(unless this can be done without tools). Further, the connection points may be live.
If the appliance needs to be opened for calibration, servicing, repair or to replace
parts or circuit boards, it must be disconnected first from all sources of current . If
servicing or internal repairs are necessary, this must be carried out by a specialist
who is familiar with the risks involved and with the relevant regulations.
• A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of
time or
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.
• Do not cascade the outlet strip. Do not connect several outlet sockets in series.
• In schools, educational centres, hobby and self-help workshops the operation of
the product is to be supervised by trained employees.
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the cur-
rent statutory requirements.
