VERSION 01/15
1
OPERATION
Always turn off the device that you want to connect before connecting it to
the micro USB connector.
Ensure that the product is connected properly. If it is not connected
properly, it may become hot or cause an electrical shock or fire.
Ensure that the connection specifications for your mobile device comply
with the connection data for the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions for your mobile device.
• Connect a USB device to the micro USB connector (3).
• Connect the vehicle USB charger to a cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle with a 12 or 24 V/DC power
supply.
• The USB device will now charge. If you wish to use the USB device, you may now turn it on.
• Disconnect the USB device from the vehicle USB charger when charging is complete or when you have
finished using it.
• Unplug the vehicle USB charger from the cigarette lighter socket after use.
You can use the vehicle USB charger when the engine is on or off. However, you should not start
the engine if the vehicle USB charging device is connected, as the cigarette lighter socket will be
disconnected (this does not necessarily apply to all vehicle models). If the vehicle power supply
is used for an extended period of time, it is recommended to start the engine in order to charge
the battery. Current consumption over an extended period with the engine switched off causes the
vehicle battery to discharge.

Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Disconnect the product from the vehicle power supply before cleaning.
• Disconnect any connected mobile devices from the product before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product,
therefore never open/dismantle it.
• A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the housing as this can lead
to scratch marks.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
