    Description The Greenlee Communications TM-700 Tele-Mate Pro Telephone Test Set is intended to assist with ® the installation and maintenance of complex telecom systems. A complete butt-in test set, the TM-700 adds useful features such as loudspeaker monitor, caller ID, speed dial, intercom, and line voltage/ current/frequency meter.

    Setup Battery Installation Electric shock hazard: Before opening the case, remove the test leads from the circuit and shut off the unit. Failure to observe this warning could result in severe injury or death. The TM-700 requires two AA batteries to be installed for all functions to operate. Greenlee recommends alkaline batteries, which are more leak resistant and offer much longer operating life than standard zinc-carbon types.

    TM-700 Operation The TM-700 test set has six main operating modes: Setup, Talk, Monitor, DTMF Detection, Toner, and Intercom. Setup Mode With the mode switch set to MONITOR, simultaneously press and #. The unit then enters the special features mode. While in this menu, select option 1 to access Setup mode. Now the language and other configurable settings can be set up.

    Talk Mode This device is for connection to TNV3 network voltages only. Use this unit only on standard analog Telecom networks. With the main mode switch in the TALK position and connected to a suitable telephone line, the unit will go off-hook. Dialing and speech are now possible.     TM-700 Mise en service Mise en place des piles Danger de choc électrique : Avant d’ouvrir le boîtier, retirer les fils d’essai du circuit et mettre l’appareil hors tension. Le non-respect de cette mise en garde peut entraîner des blessures graves ou la mort. Le TM-700 nécessite deux piles AA pour que toutes les fonctions soient opérationnelles.

    TM-700 Einrichten Batterie einsetzen Stromschlaggefahr: Vor dem Öffnen des Gehäuses die Messleitungen vom Stromkreis entfernen und das Gerät ausschalten. Das Nichtbeachten dieser Warnung kann zu schweren oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen. Damit alle Funktionen ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, müssen zwei AA-Batterien in den TM-700 eingelegt werden.

    Bedienung Der Prüfhandapparat TM-700 verfügt über sechs Hauptbetriebsmodi: Setup (Einrichten), Talk (Telefonfunktion), Monitor (Überwachen), DTMF-Erkennung, Toner und Intercom (Wechselsprechen).     Abbildung 4. SmartMute™ Durch ein kurzes Drücken der MUTE-Taste wird das Mikrofon ein- oder ausgeschaltet. Durch ein langes Drücken (länger als eine Sekunde) der Taste wird das Mikrofon stummgeschaltet, solange die Taste gedrückt gehalten wird. Das Mute-Symbol wird angezeigt, solange das Mikrofon deaktiviert ist.

    Das Wechselsprech-Warnsignal (Klingelton) ist ein schneller rhythmischer Klingelton, der höher ist als der normale Klingelton. Wenn dieser Klingelton ausgegeben wird, einfach in den Talk-Modus schalten, um den Anruf entgegen zu nehmen. Dadurch wird der TM-700 in den Intercom-Modus (Wechselsprech-Modus) versetzt. Mit einem Bestätigungston wird angezeigt, dass jetzt der Intercom- Modus (Wechselsprech-Modus) aktiv ist.

Kopfhörer Um den TM-700 als Freisprechapparat zu verwenden, einfach die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Kopfhörer in die Buchse an der Unterseite des Geräts einstecken (siehe „Bezeichnungen“). Dadurch werden die interne Muschel und das Mikrofon automatisch stummgeschaltet. Beachten: Die MUTE- und Lautsprecher-Tasten funktionieren weiterhin normal, mit der Aktivierung dieser Tasten wird die Übertragung deaktiviert.
