not natvely supported to be nstalled n the storage devce wth AHCI mode. If you stll
prefer to nstall Wndows XP as the operatng system, please change the BIOS tem as

Installng Wndows XP wth AHCI Mode
If you prefer to nstall Wndows XP as the operatng system wth AHCI mode, please
prepare AHCI drvers for Wndows XP n advanced.
Creatng a Intel AHCI Drver Dsc
Please follow the nstructon below to make an "AHCI Drver" for yourself.
You can download the drver from

Refer to Chapter 2 to access BIOS.
Go to SETTINGS → Integrated Perpherals → SATA Mode.
Set ths tem to IDE mode.
Go to SETTINGS → Save & Ext → Save changes and reboot.
Install the Wndows XP operatng system.
■ Insert the MSI DVD nto the DVD-ROM drve.
■ Clck the "Browse CD" on the Setup screen.
■ Copy all the contents from \\Storage\Intel\PCH 7\f6flpy-x86 or f6flpy-x64 to a
formatted floppy dskette.
■ The drver dskette s done.
