6. Care and maintenance

NOTE
According to DGUV regulation 68, you, as the owner of
these devices, are responsible for the annual mainte-
nance and inspection of your pumps.
WARNING
There is a risk of injury when maintaining the pump.
Always wear personal protective equipment; otherwise
injuries may occur.
It is recommended to use hydraulic oil of
quality HLP 46 or an equivalent oil.

6.1 Maintenance

NOTE
High-pressure hoses age with time. The hoses included
in delivery should be exchanged after 5 years for safety
reasons.
Check the hydraulic hoses and connections for damage
and leaks. Only replace damaged parts with spare parts
from JUNG.

6.2 Filling hydraulic oil

> Set up hydraulic pump so that it is level and horizontal.
> Screw out the oil filling screw.
> Using a funnel, fill the tank up to 10 mm below the
top edge of the filling opening.
> Screw in oil filling screw.
It is recommended to change the
hydraulic oil once a year.

6.3 Greasing the bearings

NOTE
Regularly grease the bearings since they are subjected
to strong friction forces. Use commercially available
high-performance bearing grease.
> Use a brush to grease all bearings.
> Grease the moving parts of pumps at least twice a
year.

6.4 Service and repair

If desired and on request, the company JUNG GmbH
can perform annual maintenance on the pumps at a
fixed price.
Necessary repairs are carried out by JUNG according
to a cost estimate, at short notice and at a reasonable
price. Contact details can be found on the back of the
operating instructions.
