PS3™charging station

Intended use
This product is designed for simultaneous charging of various game controllers for the PS3™ game console
(Gamepad, Move-Controller, Move-Navigation-Controller).
The charging station's power is supplied by the power supply unit included in the delivery.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating instructions.
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of companies and

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use
or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will be null
and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product should be
allowed to become moist or wet; never take hold of it if your hands are wet!
Use of the power adapter involves the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock!
• The product must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, direct sunlight, vibrations or
moisture.
• The product is not a toy. Keep devices that operate on the mains voltage out of the reach of
children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• Only use the enclosed plug power unit for operating the product. Never connect the charging
station directly to the PS3™ game consule.
• Do not pull the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from electric
shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer is con-
nected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example, remove the safety fuse
or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully discon-
nected).
You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of the
faulty wall plug transformer in an environment-friendly way, do not use it any more.
Replace it with a new power adapter with the same specifi cations.
• The design of the wall plug transformer complies with protection class II. Only use a standard
power socket as the voltage source (see section "Technical Data").
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even
from a low height.
Connection and operation
• Place the start box on a level, fi rm and suffi ciently large area.
• Connect the round, low-voltage plug of the power supply unit to the relevant jack on the USB server.
Then, plug the wall plug transformer into an appropriate mains socket.
The LEDs for the respective slot turns blue.
• Insert one or more game controllers e.g. Gamepad, Move-Controller, Move-Navigation-Controller) into the
respective slot of the charging station.
When inserting the game controllers, make sure that they are positioned correctly (cut-off corner on the
plug in the charging station resp. in the socket of the game controllers must complement each other).
Do not use force when inserting the game controllers, otherwise the plugs in the charging station
or the sockets in the game controllers could be damaged. Loss of warranty/guarantee!
• The charging process starts directly after insertion.

When the charging process is complete, all LEDs for the corresponding slot turn green.
Then, disconnect the respective game controller from the charging station.

• When you no longer need the charging station, disconnect all game controllers from the charging station
and unplug the connector from the power supply.
Keep the charging station and the connector in a dry and dust-free environment.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Maintenance or repairs may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel or a specialist repair shop. The product
contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on the housing, this could result
in scratch marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a warm one.
The condensation that forms might destroy your unit. The wall plug transformer also poses a
risk for a potentially fatal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power supply and
putting it in to use. This may take several hours.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you detect any damage, DO NOT connect the product to the mains supply!
A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not function or does not function properly (e.g. a burning smell)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
• Do not place the product on the surface of valuable furniture without appropriate protection as
this may cause, for example, discoloration or dents.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are neither kinked nor pinched.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during transportation:
- Excessive humidity or damp
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
• Do not leave the game controllers plugged into the charging station, but disconnect them from
the charging station when they are completely charged.
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regulations!
