Charging or powering devices
Learn on which ports devices (e.g. smartphone) can be charged, and how to charge and power them.
Understand the limitations of available charging ports.
Charging and powering a notebook with a USB-C™ connector requires an additional power supply. This
case is described separately.
Important: Power supply is limited
Power supplied by the power adapter is limited. It means:
The product may limit the power supplied to simultaneously connected devices.
Charging times may not meet your expectations.
Charging may not be possible at all.

2. Connect the device you want to charge or power to one of the listed ports.

Powering and charging a notebook:
To power and charge a notebook you need an additional power source that meets the Power Delivery (PD)
specification and the power requirements of the notebook.
1. Connect a suitable power supply to the USB-C™ (PD3.0) port Power.
2. Connect the notebook to the USB-C™ port Host.
Connecting screens
Connect a screen to display video content received from a host device.
You can connect more than one screen: unit

Connect a microphone or headset (CTIA Standard) to transfer sound to a receiver device (e.g. computer,

Adding a network connection
Connect the product to your local area network (LAN) to provide the host device with access to network
resources.
