! firmly tighten all screws and nuts
• Mounting the mitre saw to the saw stand 8
! make sure that the clamp levers are unlocked
- lift the mitre saw and tool mount brackets
- mount the tool mount brackets to the front rail first,
followed by the rear rail
- lock the clamp levers J to secure the mitre saw
! continue to hold the mitre saw with one hand until
both clamp levers are locked
! make sure that the total weight of the mitre saw
and workpiece does not exceed 150 kg
Workpiece support / length stop 9

- workpiece support D can be ajdusted in height as
shown and can be used as support roller or as length
stop for easily sawing workpieces to the same length

- the free end of longer workpieces needs to be
supported
- extension bars C can be extended to allow longer
workpieces

- press unlocking lever F to fold the legs and transport
the mitre saw stand as shown w
• Storage
- store the tool indoors in a dry and locked-up place, out
of reach of children

MAINTENANCE / SERVICE

• This tool is not intended for professional use
• Always keep the mitre saw stand clean
- clean the tool with a clean dry cloth and/or soft brush
• After intensive use of the mitre saw stand the tool mount
brackets may possibly need readjustment to keep a firm
fit e
- use a 10 mm wrench (not included) to loosen nut N
slightly
- turn screw P (PH2) clockwise to tighten the fit,
counterclockwise to loosen the fit
- check the adjustment by mounting the bracket on the
mitre saw stand
- tighten nut N
• If the tool should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should
be carried out by an after-sales service centre for SKIL
power tools
- send the tool undismantled together with proof of
purchase to your dealer or the nearest SKIL service
station (addresses as well as the service diagram of the
tool are listed on www.skil.com)
• Be aware that damage due to overload or improper
handling of the tool will be excluded from the warranty

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE POUR SUPPORTS DE
SCIES A ONGLETS
• Ne modifiiez par le support de la scie à onglets et
ne n'utilisez pas à une fin pour laquelle il n'est pas
prévu.
• Ce support peut accueillir de nombreux types de
scie à onglets. Il ne doit cependant pas être utilisé
avec une scie à onglets dont le diamètre de la lame
1300
dépasse 305 mm. Assurez-vous toujours que votre scie
à onglets est correctement montée et stable avant de
l'utiliser. Effectuez un essai de coupe à vide pour vous
assurer qu'aucun problème ne surviendra lorsque vous
procédez à la coupe.
• Maintenez l'endroit de travail propre et bien éclairé.
Un lieu de travail en désordre ou mal éclairé augmente le
risque d'accidents.
